I loved the review. Like most viewers, I have mixed feelings about the show. I loved the show's first half (6-8 episodes). But then the story really became a little draggy. The second leads of the story while well-intentioned was also draggy. What really hooked me was the explosive chemistry between the leads. I was especially enchanted by Seo In Guk, having earlier seen him in Reply 1997 and Shopping King Louis. Because the chemistry was so amazing, I expected a little oomph in their scenes towards the end, like their first kissing scene. That really left me asking for more. Since the show was more character-heavy, I really don't mind the slow plot. But I do feel there could have a lot been done in the second half to make it less draggy. Anyways, I hope to see these two again sometime in another project :)

Review Vincenzo
Yes absolutely, the show was really interesting in the beginning but then started to get repetitive. Even I thought that Vincenzo literally faced no consequence of his actions except episode 17. Definitely agreed on the part on how Vincenzo wins every time. The whole highlight was ABSOLUTELY the main villain. Such an amazing persona, and the actor who played that role, I've become such a fan. Also can we about the lack of personality for the MC. His only job was to look cool in the 20 episodes.

I turned away from the webtoon immediately after reading the synopsis. Going to do the same for the drama. Too…
The Web Toon isn't a love triangle, and it's not a typical rom com it's actually very realistic, maybe you can give this another try

Guys it's not a cliche romantic drama, but an eye opener. It's actually a really well written and realistic story about dating and personal insecurities and I hope they keep it exactly like the Web Toon and doesn't romanticize some character interactions

Review Vincenzo
The 3rd point feels like an attack against the actor's personal life, which brings the authenticity of the review completely down

I agree with many points here. Specially the story being inspired from many previous work and the gender based role reversal of the leads.

Perfect explanation on why this drama didn't work out for me. It was great at all the themes it explored but yet it lacked in a lot of aspects.

Good article. After watching 50 or so dramas over the past 5 years, I have understood the importance of dropping dramas that doesn't interest you anymore. There are so many dramas I should have dropped halfway, but continued just for the sake of it. Even then, I would never drop a drama in the first episode itself, because a lot of character and plot development takes place in the first 6 episodes. So I usually wait if I'm interested to watch till the very end. Some dramas really go downhill in the second half, so I usually drop around then. Luckily for me, my last 3 dramas have kept me hooked till the last episode :)

Finally someone!! I thought I was the only one who started getting bored of the drama midway, also the characters…
Thank you so much. It's actually sad the drama could have been better. Time to move on to new dramas :)
