Probably one the best BLs this year..but the last episode? I have questions.. Like how did it happen is Yai a…
In the novel, Warrior Yai promised that he'd recognise Jom when they'd meet again in their subsequent lives. And one of them (I don't remember who) had made a wish that Yai would remember all the things they'd gone through in their previous lives.
can someone explain what happened with that chest? before Jom traveled back in time he had the key and had already…
In ep 6, Jom saw his future self while he was drawing a picture outside the house. He followed his future self into the house and saw himself open the chest, and look at the things in that chest, but we also see him lock the chest before leaving the room. Khun Yai's "letter" was written on the back side of the picture Jom drew of him, which Jom hadn't noticed the first time he saw that picture.
Where is everyone watching this I was only able to watch the first 2 episodes on youtube? Lol 🤣
Make sure you watch the uncut version. The first few episodes seem a bit slow but as many people have said here the pacing of the show is actually good, although some find it too slow and thus boring.
I have no idea how commander Yai will be included in the story, esp with one pisode left XD
The team has already said they only covered the first part of the novel, so we might not see commander Yai again in the last episode. But people are all hoping to see a season 2.
Why not watch from the official yt channel? https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=btHHL8fcT28&pp=ygUcaSBmZWVsIHlvdSBsaW5nZXIgaW4gdGhlIGFpcg%3D%3D
You may have to wait for a day or two and I'm sure people will post it on Bilibili. I don't want to encourage people to watch it on illegal sites, but please don't watch it from reactors, they can't show the whole episodes. They've imposed strict rules on those who do reactions on Youtube. I really feel sad for those who can't watch it on legal sites. This series is really great but it's geoblocked in many countries. I don't get it. Another option is that you may try the free version of proton (vpn). I heard it works.
About your first point: I do think they could’ve done it better. We’ve seen tiny bits of Fong Kaew, James…
In ep 6, Yai talked to James about the fire incident at the Bar, asking James to further look into the fire incident. Jom must have known something about this from Yai, because later in this same ep at her mom's house Jom told Fong Kaew that Yai suspected that Robert might have been involved. No need for the series to show us everything; it just made things subtle, but we could see the connections.
There's no doubt that this was another great ep. However, there are a couple of plot issues that need to be hashed…
As for your first point, I think everything was crystal clear if you watched the uncut version. In ep 6, Fong Kaew told Jom about her background and they both suspected Robert was the person behind what'd happened to her. In ep 10, we saw that Jom got help from some people. He did this as he said he wanted it to be a gift to Yai (to free Yai from the engagement).

Did you watch the uncut version? In ep 6 (the uncut version), Fong Kaew did talk to Jom about her house being burned down and how she ended up being Robert's wife. Jom said to her Khun Yai suspected that Robert had something to do with the fire incident. They had that conversation when she took Jom to her house to meet her mother.
Bright, Nonkul, & Guide playing games in this clip with English subtitles. Bright's so funny and Khun Yai in real life is such a naughty boy. LOL, I love him. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2BIbe-oR0ZE&t=287s
I think it depends on personal taste, I actually like the slow pace of this drama.
I think most viewers actually enjoy this slow pace of the series and it wouldn't make sense to rush things at the beginning. We're watching a romantic drama set in a conservative culture of the 1920s. It is a Thai period drama, not a Kbl story whose episode is rather short compared to Thai bl. Things work differently in different countries, I guess.
It's not Friday and I miss Jom and Khun Yai again. Gosh, I'm addicted to this show, I don't know how can I survive…
Someone's spoiled me with part 2 of the novel. Part 2 sounds really amazing as well an now I can see why it's a best-selling bl novel in Thailand. If they don't make part 2 into a season 2, we can only enjoy this wonderful bl story through the book.
We’re not sleeping on it, it’s not available for us in the USA to watch 😢
I have no idea why it's geoblocked in the USA. But people there can still use a vpn. I think it's available on Youtube in Canada and Europe. The series is absolutely amazing.
I’m wondering if I should just wait to watch today’s episode until next week lol
As you know, ep 9 breaks our hearts, but if you watch this ep till the very end and survive, you'll be glad to see what will happen next (but then again we all know what will happen to them finally). And yes as someone else pointed out at the end of this ep there's a cliffhanger.
Even side characters are so well written. The subplots are interesting. I bet all viewers now want season 2. We want to see Commander Yai and Jom and their love.
How's the response for this series in thailand & on international level basis ?Please it deserves soo much hype…
It's a hit in Thailand. Every episode has become No 1 trending topic on twitter in the country. The series's received very positive feedback from the Thai audience. It's quite popular, considering the fact that Bright&Nonkul don't do any fan service to promote IFYLITA, unlike most GMMTV bl couples. They do interviews from time to time, though. But I have no idea how it's doing on the international level. It's hard to say because it's geoblocked in certain countries, not easily accessible. Besides, the studio and the platforms are very strict about doing reactions on Youtube. There're quite a few reactors for this show in Thailand, but very few reactors outside Thailand. This's quite unusual for a high-quality show like this. I guess it's not very popular on the international level, yet I've only seen positive comments here, on reddit, and tumblr. People keep praising this series everywhere.
