Only on 5 episodes in but not sure if I missed something, but at the quarry Cai Wei gets loose and holds Shangguann Zhi hostage, but it's never showed how SZ got the upper hand swapped faces etc. Is that addressed at some point ?
I've always been of the opinion public figures should be held to higher standards due to fans following their actions, so agree with it when they get blacklisted although not all of them are treated the same unfortunately. It's their pre-scandal stuff I'm like should I watch as others worked hard on the show not just them, even though they were may have been doing what they got caught doing for years before being caught. The work after their the scandal I have no issue ignoring as they had been hired by people who knew about it.

I would have liked longer episodes and more information, but I guess it's not necessary as that can make the show seem boring with too much backstory and flashbacks.
Not saying that looks is all that matters, but with her looks I would expect to see her have main lead roles in proper dramas within the next few years, whether she act is another matter just saw her on a Youtube short for Bright Moon of Spring Night (2025) and might give it ago.
