The leads so far I have no issues with.
Princess Xi Yang - See's a guy once I want to marry him, Completely oblivious or just choosing to ignore the fact that she is been manipulated left and right lol.
The Emperor - True like most of these dramas, they seem to have no real power and are aware of certain things but say nothing. But come one the Prime Minister and the current Empress have to have been involved in ML's mother's framing and death. Or at the very least he must know she was framed.
Oh I lied ML dud has been trying to avenge his mother and is a great investigator but has never in what 10 plus years found evidence of his mothers innocence and who framed her. But will some how uncover it all during the show. True he probably knows just hasn't the evidence so I can look past that, and I guess with people from Jinxui involved and in Susha then info will come forward, that he never had access to.

Is Hao Ming has realised this, chose to raise him through his family and take responsibility anyway, and is like he is with Fang Lei as he already knows that she faked the DNA results..
Which in turn would explain his behaviour and relationship with women especially Xu Yan, he has been betrayed and lied to by the woman he loved, betrayed to the extent she was too pass off another mans child as his, So when he realised Xu Yan was lying he just went ahead with due to past trauma.

Could be 1 of two things. 1) Fang Lei being a b*tch and lying. 2) Or the Ex wasn't faithful, even if she had a 1 night stand after the break up which, the Youtube video I watched claimed with a Chinese artist. She claimed that she hadn't been with anyone else.
If it's not his child that means she has probably been unfaithful as well, because she has no reason to lie about the 1 night stand because she said she wasn't interested in getting back together (Unless that was a ploy).
The part that made me think it might be the 2nd option, was she said she was going to stay with a friend in Manchester, and she said HE so maybe there was someone else.
