I enjoyed it, nothing fantastic mind you, I would give it an Average- average which is 8/10.
I've watched better historical dramas and the female as Man thing has been done better. And I noticed below someone mentions, it's as if the writer wanted to write a longer show, It really felt like large portions had been cut to cram it into a 20 episode show.
Park Eun Bin I have liked her in other things I have watched her in, but her beauty really weirdly stood out in this one.
The one character that I really felt sorry for more than the others was the Queen, she was basically just happy doing whatever, as long as she could have his majesties child etc she would bear with it. Was punished due her fathers crimes. was used by her majesty to be her wife etc.
I've been avoiding this due to the ending. But i've just read something online that said that the present time the story is a little vague and nothing is confirmed, Regarding Hee Do's husband and her daughters father. And they said maybe it was left vague because they were implying Yi Jin is the father and husband to be and they left it open to interpret ?
As I have not watched it can anyone say whether that interpretation is likely ?
HiCan u tell me how draggy the love triangle in thisShould it skip if I don’t like LT
Same, Am on episode 9 and it's fine. The FL has at times had lovey eyes towards both ML's within 2 minutes of each other in fact. One is unrequited as they haven't said anything. (she also doesn't know he knows she is a woman either ) And other still thinks she's a man.
It's definitely not annoying were the leads have started dating and FL still gives time to 2nd that she and ML know wants her. There the type i avoid
I have no idea who she is, but this comment is similar to a debate I had a few days ago. A show doesnt need kisses…
Precisely. Point is they are being cast though when the directors know that they won't kiss onscreen. So they must have the show written that way or the actor/ress is bigger enough that they don't care about changing that very small thing to have them in it.
TBF I have seen dramas that had zero kissing, but the chemistry was of the charts and the drama was significantly better that others that have plenty of kissing.
And finally this drama is Mystery first then romance, so not to surprising I guess.
But if you can't watch a drama with romance that doesn't have kissing in, just ask in comments if it has any then avoid if it doesn't if it bothers you that mush, I tend to avoid any drama when the leads cheat. So each person prefers different things.

Kind of depends on the person, They don't have to cast that actor/ress. Some actors who are in relationships have this in contracts that they don't kiss there onscreen partners, doesn't mean they can't act or even the romance won't work either.
bruh kllng the crown princess was so unecessary. if they really wanted to they could’ve given a more reasonable…
Is that the FL's mother your talking about. If so I was so confused, one scene she was fine, then the next scene she was on her deathbed, with no explanation of why she died. I was like WTF.

And she kind of seemed broken in her last scene.
He seems closed off maybe due to that.
You will find out why the ML knows her.
Not sure whether to try it or not.

Has it been confirmed she had the Script after accepting the role, if so not on.
But if is written so that actress could take the role. Then i'm fine with it.

Then Matron Mengs Backstory of what happened to her, which in turn affected her Daughter. etc etc.
I remember being really wound up by the 2ML and then I read the comments about how it ended and I was out.
Was considering watching this until reading the comments below .
