Your 100% correct we shouldn't really compare dramas/ films.
We should just discuss the show we are watching.
Too many people rate shows down for dumb reasons due to bias against an actress who happens to be FL.

They really should have used a younger actor as well if he was meant to be a genuine love interest.

Since when does older have to mean mature though. Plus she's still in her twenties it's not as if if it's a proper older woman/younger man like 38 - 45(or older) and a 22 y/o guy, like it is with the opposite way round older guy/younger girl that you come across so often.

Still smoking hot though. Looks better than alot of 30 year old actresses.

That case is disgusting, but it shows the difference between committing that crime if your no-one and Celeb. Thankfully the main guy got sentenced to 40 years (they just need to find everyone else involved) but Celebs who were involved in things like Burning sun or r*pe cases, either have the case thrown out or just get a few months in jail.

Couldn't agree more, as someone whose teenage years were the late 90's, that was the norm.
It built anticipation for each episode, the binge culture ruins it sometimes I've watched some Kdramas in 2 days loved it, but struggled to remember exactly what happened just a few months later lol.

Also like you said this is nothing new, but the acting from the leads is great, haven't seen the FL in a bad show yet.

It doesn't take much to notice that the same users, have 10-20 likes every comment. And the other side have 1 or 0.

It's unreasonable for that to happen - for the amount of likes that one side of an argument to have that many likes the traffic reading the comments would have to be reasonably high and all of them well 95% are all biased to one side over something so trivial. It's never happening it's a statistically very unlikely unless as someone said you are upvoting multiple times lol

In work and bored lol. But I've seriously have never been that bored that I would waste time upvoting my own comments when it's so obvious.

Perfect example of realistic likes is the comment thread below, where both sets of commenters on either side of their argument have similar amounts of likes.

You couldn't really compare it to "Marry My Husband" or "Perfect Marriage Revenge" as they are 2nd chance dramas, but there closer for comparison that QOT.

If the shows are completely different genres and plots etc and your tastes align with one over the other then of course one will be a stand out superior show.
If both shows were similar plots etc, such as the 2 I mention above then fair enough they are comparable.

Anyway ignoring that part just from what I've seen the FL is terrible and from other comments is actually worse than my impression from Episode 1.
- As far as I can tell 18 months together in love and doing well, she discovers he's rich but still carries on fine until his mother gets involved.
- So ML didn't tell her he's from a rich family, that is something he can't control and may not have told her due to issues in a previous relationship. He should have told her after 18 months though.
_ Now FL decides to break up after meeting his mum. Still, instead of telling him she's accepted money to leave for whatever BS reasoning, She CHOOSES to manipulate, gaslight, and emotionally torture the ML who loves her so that he will dump her, and with the result, he ends up being banished abroad.
Talk about disgusting she should have been honest and told him she had been paid to leave him, and she should have quit the company/
Edit: I just finished the episode. Even if he finds out then, it doesn't change her initial intentions—if not for getting drunk.

Oh forgot about other comments about her not knowing obvious things about him when he changed for her, and when they get back together she ignores the wedding planning wow

I never watched all of "love is Sweet" TBF.
Although he isn't the 1st Chinese ML or FL even that I've thought they looked unhealthy, because off how thin they look.

At my age I wouldn't be interested in dating a woman my age if she had been with more than say 15-20 guys. I'm 42. But less than 10 is more preferable.

I felt the same the other, way when I heard guys bragging when I was in my 20's that they've slept with 50 women, so what there male sluts lol I prefer quality over quantity.

They should have made it realistic. He would have at least moved on and dated, if not be married with kids.
I have nothing against women dating, but realistically not many men want women with high body counts.

As long as the women who watch these shows are aware this fantasy and 99.9999% of the good men they threw away like trash because they thought there was greener pastures elsewhere, won't be waiting for them, and those men that may be single at that are not likely to give them a 2nd chance. I wouldn't I know that.

Reverse the sexes, why would a woman pine and wait for man for almost a decade while they have fun, only to take them back, not many nowadays. So why would you have such unrealistic expectations from men.

Exactly these shows aren't wrote with men in mind, and there clearly aimed at certain women as well.

You have to consider who the largest portion of the audience is, it's going to be women. So the story will be written with women in mind.
That's why they have the pretty much perfect man stay pure, waiting for her, while she dates trash (reality then complain why there is no good men lol).

As a guy everyone knows women will more likely have a higher body count now, who cares, it just the unrealistic plot about the ML.

Unfortunately I stopped after episode 2 because I was getting the picture early what you commented is the case.
I guess it's because it's aimed at the female viewer, they want to delusionally imagine that they can abandon the almost perfect man behind, live their best life moving on with trash guys (basically reality right) and then think Mr almost perfect has been sat there simpingly waiting for almost a decade lol (similar idea as Sweet Home Alabama). True am sure some guys may do that, but most nah.
