Just finished episode 23 and what is wrong with that Luo Mei character she has loved ML since childhood, knows she has been manipulated by crown prince, her aunt etc she's a general with all the honour and family history etc.
And then almost randomly out of the blue is in love with the crown prince when she knows he's bad and commits treason herself ?

I haven't watched this yet so can only go by what I've read. It seems when she abandons ML for her own good she doesn't tell him why.

So if that was what happens then am sorry but that is very heartless as the person that goes through it is ML when there is no explanation can go through years of mental anguish etc etc

I will get round to watching it and make a decision after seeing it but if above is what happens then I won't think much of her as prioritizing oneself by hurting others is not a value I would want to show.

Just read about this and ALOT of people believe she knew what was going on, she's still with him lol

It was good.
It was romance lite, they could have done more of them dating it was weird it felt a little rushed and like most of the relationship happened of camera in a way.

I would have liked more of Gheng Hui and Sheng Ni Na relationship to be honest.

Sounds like zero communication in that relationship, I'm still weirdly tempted to watch.

Li Xiao Ran if her profile picture is recent, then dear god she looks good in mid-late 40's better looking than some of the FL's in there 20's.

There are plenty of guy's who watch these shows, who are thinking the exact opposite of yourself. They need an actor who can act etc lol

Lol should have it finished in a few days, it's an enjoyable watch so far.

Got a feeling they've both been in love with each other since school.
The scene Shi Yan drags Tang Yang to the supply closet in school then they end up swearing to be blood brothers (or something) I felt he was going to confess but chickened out and then she starts dating Song Ping or someone. I wouldn't be surprised he got into the same Uni/college as her and changed schools when he finds out she is dating that guy.

Anyway will have t continue watching to find out.

Still can talk about the show without watching though, as there is more than enough information about what happens in it to discuss.

Finished it - Really good 8/10 could have been much better.

- Sometimes I felt it was a bit jumpy from scene to scene, it took me a minute to realise the scene after a murder had happened was actually weeks/months before the previous scene, but it fails to give an indication on screen.
- I guess I would have like a little more information but it was limited series 12 episodes.
- The stupid open ending, it's been 3 years did they expect a 2nd season or something. So annoying lol
- And I guess the big one for some but I personally wasn't that bothered if their wasn't romance, but I would have like the two FL's to at least have had a more romantic relationship as it was meant to be. It was more Big Sister little sister if anything with Yan Wei occasionally acting as protector behind You Yi back, and then trying to take up the father role.

He's 19 the guy is man lol.
True age gap is a bit much if he was 25 with same age gap not so weird.

But they are both adults, same as 18 y/o girl that hooks up with 50 y/o guy because he's loaded. Not saying it's morally right, definitely creepy, seedy etc but it's consenting and legal.

It's already on my list because of the amazing Lee Bo Young, I will move it up a bit.

If the wife cheated then that is one of the few times I can accept cheating, cheating disgusts me. Because if your other half betrayed you by cheating they ended the relationship when they cheated, you're just wasting time going through the motions until you split up.

Still, it's a waste of time cheating on a cheat is pointless they don't care about you anyway.

P.S. Is this worth watching?

Ignore me there is, gets made more obvious start of Ep 3.

I'm only 2 episodes in, but are the 2 separate timelines, seems to be one before they meet.

Or is it just how it's been done, feels like some scenes don't flow but two timelines make sense.

I agree she can leave etc, But she is not a nice person the WAY she does it.

And like I said as she is that type of person she will just cycle through relationships in that way, unless she works on herself.
