I agree I am watching the drama as a fan of SHS, and will rate it according too how good I think it was, ignoring anything external.

I can also separately believe that there is high probability that the ML probably did do it and then due to power and money have the victim r*ped again through the courts.

True he may actually be innocent but from what came out it seems unlikely and SK and that part of Asia's response or LACK of towards SA against women and then also attacking and then prosecuting women for false allegations is reasons why so many don't bother reporting,
If I was a woman over there after being r*ped I don't think I could go through it myself the system is set up to protect the perpetrator.

I've enjoyed episode 1 it's a 9/10 from me.
I'm ignoring the likelihood the ML was guilty and because of SK is he got away with and even got revenge on his victim.
Try to watch and enjoy the show ignoring the reality.

He admitted she never consented and there are photos of her injuries, the judge apparently said it wasn't violent enough to be rape.
Also a rich male celeb in SK with that industry agency, studios and lawyers available not hard to get her convicted even if she was raped.

There's enough dramas out of that country to show this is nothing.

He even admitted it wasn't consensual.

SHS is literally the only reason I'm considering watching this.

I actually found it a little manipulative. She knew she loved him.
And you could say through his actions she knew he loved her, She left because he was unable to say it out loud which could have backfired. She even went back with day 1 cake without ever talking with him after abandoning him, which tells me she knew full well how he felt she just wanted him to say it.
I'm like Se Hui I might not say something but I show it through my actions, which unfortunately like shown here if the other person doesn't pick that up or needs it said, Then they could simply outright ask the other person, instead of intentionally hurting them, with me if I was Se Hui I'd be 50/50 to take her back or not.

I gave it an 8.5 even though it at times dragged especially towards the end, and I found some aspects of the relationships a bit annoying, Obviously, I know it's showing all relationships aren't perfect, and need work to start fresh and work.

Saying that there were things that annoyed me about each couple.

1) Main Couple I pretty much loved them (Unfortunately for me I am Like See Hui if not worse lol)The only problem I really had was with what Ji Ho did at the end with her leaving it was unnecessary, (I Get why they did to make him come out blah blah and speak his feelings). Some commenters say it was to confirm her feelings and see what his were, I disagree here She already knew that she loved him before she left, and quite frankly even though he hadn't said it she knew he at least had feelings for her (Some people find it hard to say it they show through their actions like here) He showed multiple times he had feelings for her, when he though flower boy from the coffee shop was the stalker and runs to save her, I did have a few examples of this but I waited a week to watch the last episode and have forgot lol.
She got lucky that she broke down and told her, he could have easily said I did love you but if you can manipulate me to get what you want then your not the one for me.
* I loved the idea about the yearly contract updates, talk about the relationship is everything working etc keeps the relationship happy and working and hopefully would reduce the chance of infidelity,

2) CEO Ma and Su Ji - I never had an issue with him, or after they got together the issue I had was with her before it all came out.
So she is trying to keep everything unemotional and keep her private life separate from her S*x Buddy I guess is what you would call their original contract relationship, it wasn't really dating. Then He finds out why she's like that all the shit from her past etc.
What annoyed me with that situation is if she was trying to not get into a position where she might have to explain, she doesn't know who her father is, or she is looking after her mother etc and she would be looked down and shunned by possible in-laws, Why was she getting involved with green flag guys that were going to want more from her than she wanted to give.
If she really wanted that lonely life she was leading then she should have dated guys like manager Park etc. Then again that might be why she went for CEO Ma hoping he would get through her defenses etc, still though she could have just ended up hurting him just as easily and still been alone.

3 - The other two dear god lol Yes they love each other but they were annoying lol.
When they were broken up was she actually dating the accountant because it had been like what 7 months and it didn't seem like they were they were so robotic and business like yet they were talking as if they were dating, it was the weirdest thing to me, I couldn't figure that one out,

Feel sorry for Bo Mi a little new almost straight away she was into Won Seuk.

Anyway overall I did actually enjoy, it just shows that relationships are never straightforward, aren't easy and need work etc etc

I'm just re-watching this, and just watched the scene were Xu Mu is invited to her cheating Ex's engagement party and she finally accepts after his goading.

What I don't get is the behaviour not only them but the other guests, they were all school/college friends I believe. And that was how they acted.

I never understood if the woman her Ex's is marrying is the one he cheated on her with.

1 - I don't get the inviting an Ex that you cheated on to your wedding WTF and why accept.
2 - If it was her he cheated on Xu Mu with why does the bride need to be magnanimous to invite the ex who she stole her BF from I mean seriously this B*tch should be embarrassed to be getting married, they all know what's what they went to school together.
2a - If she wasn't the one he cheated with she knows, yet again why would you be proud to marry a cheat and rub it into his ex's face. What kind of marriage is that going to be he or her will be cheating with in a year.
3 - The so called school friends attending a wedding of two awful people and laughing about the one that had been wronged, and saying I can't believe you invited her your so good, I mean WTF.

If I was in that friend group I would have ceased all communication with the Bride and Groom long ago when I found out what they were when the Cheating came out. Or just the groom in the bride wasn't the one he cheated with, then I would have cut her out when she was stupid enough to involve herself with him.

Is this a Chinese thing as I think this isn't the first show I have seen this in?

I don't think I've seen her play a nice character yet. There is always something about the characters she plays that aren't nice.

Although I've never been the big 3 are calling me, Tokyo, Seoul and Shanghai would be my choices to try a full-time move, I'm still young(ish 42) I could maybe get back into education and try to become an English tutor (with my abysmal English, and I call myself British lol) but I think you need a degree to be considered well in Korea I believe you do.

Ahh forgot Hong Kong would love to at least visit. We can dream lol
