The Best Korean drama ever made and I have watched plenty of them .
Just finished watching this drama. Definitely one of those that leaves a lasting impact. I can't believe this wasn't on my radar back when it aired

My heart broke when Looney went back to being a druggie right after his release :(
Me too! I was more invested in Looney's storyline than the main character's. I thought at the very least they'd show us who set Looney up to be arrested when he was fresh out of prison. The way they set up that trap was really messed up.

Am I the only one who felt some chemistry btn Ji Chong and Bao Na? I think he has more chemistry with Bao Na than with Ma Zhai Xing

And did you notice the symbolism of the belt falling away from Zhai Xing's waist just before she shot the arrow at Bo Wang? Those scenes were really well done

She is so silly... Acts a lot like a positive little girl, rather than a grown up woman she is supposed to be.…
I'm also really confused at this point. They presented her as a very smart character but all of a sudden she's now acting like the typical silly FL we often see in cdramas. I get that she's clueless about the king's true character but...isn't it fairly obvious that Yaoji is Bo Wang's enemy?

Linglong's storyline was so well done. It felt extremely realistic...But yeah, it also made me so uncomfortable. And I also wish we could have seen more of the backstory of Sifeng as Prince and how he fell in love with the God of War

I felt a bit sad when I saw that. I wish they could've ended it(at the concert) on a sweet note. Chengyi's attitude towards Crystal Yuan seemed so cold, especially compared with how Sifeng was towards Xuanji in the drama. That's why many fans(me included) were disappointed.
