I'm confused. How is it incest if they're not related? I also I heard that in their story-line one of the step-brothers…
I think it's growing up together as family that makes us have sexual repulsion for our family . So if they're step brothers that didn't grew up together, then it's not weird, but if they did, then it totally is.
I never liked the gay stereotype side characters that a lot of BLs tend to have. They usually undermine the severety…
You've already seen TWM, I'd suggest My Tee, which is also current so you'll end up having to wait too. There are also What the Duck and Dark Blue and Moonlight that you might enjoy.
The show started getting really interesting in episode 7, showing thai society reaction to gay relationships more than other BLs I've seen. Mork also showed himself to be a good protagonist.
The only reason the writers treat it afterwards as if Korn did something to Knock and not as both doing something to each other, is to show Knock's struggle with being gay.
No I hadn't heard of this case before. I still think it wasn't rape. Both Korn and Knock were drunk the same way, no one of the two was unconscious. Knock was an active participant in the act, being fully conscious.
In the very first scene they were both intoxicated, they were both drunk, therefore it wasn't sex. I even was annoyed by Knock accusing Korn as if Knock himself didn't share blame for what happened and Korn kinda accepted it.
I don't remember aobut PraeFarm scene. Bright forcing Farm was, definitely, actually rape, I agree.
I need your opinion, guys. Should I watch this first, or should I watch Bad Romance first? Will watching this…
Watching this first won't make you miss anything, as this is a prequel. They aren't that connected, though, and there even are a lot of inconsistencies between them. TWM is much better written than Bad Romance, so it might be difficult to watch it after TWM,
When I said 'American shows', I meant what has been popular over the years, like Game of Thrones, The…
Sex and violence makes shows bad? Game of Thrones, Walking Dead, AHS are popular because they're good, not because of sex and violence. And with a show with themes like these, it's more authentic to have some violence, because the game of thrones the characters play is deadly and the other is about zombies. And AHS is a horror show. About sex, well, sex sells. I actually think there's a weird double standard when violence, something unnatural that would be best not existing, is okay to be shown, but people raise eyebrows because of sex, sex that is something utterly natural, part of life, that everyone does.
I thought the main couple (Phana and Wayo) extremely boring, super chaste university boys . Their relationship also seems unhealthy, with both being the obsessive, stalkerish, possessive type. To top it off, although Pha loves Wayo, simple lack of Clark Kent glasses made him unrecognizable to him. Ming and Kit was so much better, although Kit didn't seem to like Ming at all, up until the point when he is jealous of his ex-girlfriend. Also, the show looks censored.
I personally loved this second movie. The changes the movies made from the manga and anime were good because they still followed the same rules, while giving us viewers surprise. It is such a nice alternate version of the same story that I can't not like it. And Matsuyama is perfect as L.
It was kinda good, but weird. The ending was terrible, though. I don't know why gay films have to force a sad ending with a Diabolus Ex Machina like this! It's terrible.
It was below average for me. I've watched Together With Me first and that was of better quality. But, to be fair, I fastforwarded scenes in Bad Romance. Still, the plots were getting dumber and dumber. Yihwa still was an incredible character, but even she suffered poor characterization in some parts. They characters are obviously older here, but they act more childish than they do in Together With Me. The acting and the ending are good, though.
On personal notes, I loved all of Knock's could-have-been relationships were with men (Cho and Chinnok), it was nice after hearing him say he's gay-for-you for Korn in TWM. He didn't actually get with other guy, but I wouldn't want him cheating anyway, so that's okay. And I liked the proposal in the end. THE FEELS! And I loved that they became public. It was also nice that Korn mentioned his mom not supporting him with Knock (I wish they'd done more with that). They could've had at least one non-forced kiss, though. As for Yihwa-Cho, from the little I saw, I was rooting more for James, even though he was a villain, I wanted him to fall for her, because why wouldn't he?! She's awesome. But it annoyed me that she acted like she was still that naive high school girl that has a crush on the popular guy, which IMO is out of character for her.
Funny and sad how some people are totally fine when in some series they turn the completely straight person into…
I myself am not okay. It's wrong in both cases. But still, there are fewer gay characters in fiction, so turning one straight is a big deal. There is a huge amount of straight characters, it's not as big a deal. Besides, all of the three "lesbians" (Pan, Namkhaeng and Pan's ex) ended up with boys!
