You probably haven’t watched any of the good Korean BLs then. Yeah some of them are shit, but there are some…
The only K-BL-drama I've seen that had top-notch chemistry was "Long Time No See". Other a either no good, as you mentioned, or rather puritan. Which was actually totally unexpected for me, because my first encounter with LGBT motives in Korean movies was "Frozen Flower".
For real? "Why R U" had super cute cast, great chemistry between the leads and... That's about it. I had fun watching it, but it's a total surprise that somebody thought it deserved a remake.
"perché collegarlo a Tawi" - because Sean wanted to believe that his father was innocently framed and he wanted to blame someone for his death and its cover-up? At first, when we believe his story, we are made to think that Tawi is a total villain, but then it turns up that he might not be guilty of all the sins that he's accused of. And nobody said it's bad to employ deaf people, c'mon... To the contrary. Showing him as an equal-opportunity employer was another argument that he's a complex character. Yes, some (most?) of the ideas of "our" gang were bad - how is that a plot loophole? Yes, Black is actually a person with deep emotions - we see it, his comrades don't - again, how is that a problem? The parents don't love the twins too much - well, things like that happen too. I agree that many things could have been made better, but I'm not a fan of series where "our" characters are wise, good and perfect, while their nemeses are evil, stupid and constantly plotting. Not all is black and white in life - or in this series. ;)
This is a perfect summary of this show's imperfections. I actually like your idea of a show, where everybody expects an OffGun romance, but instead they turn out to be just friends. That would be an interesting plot twist.
Those things were actually quite realistic. Parents cutting off contact with children, when their values are different, no actual justice to criminals, protests happening but then dying down - that's the world we live in.
This is like Meow Ears Up if Meow Ears Up were good. The writing on this is really good and funny, and I love…
I don't get it why people already give ratings to this show. I mean, there are only 2 episodes available for now, shouldn't they wait till they see more?
You cannot say that this is "suddenly" if actually 5 years passed. Josee's life changed because he obtained welfare for her and helped her contact her childhood friend, who gave her the car. He was probably always planning to be with that other woman - the romance was probably imagined by Josee just like that father in Budapest, balloon ride in Africa and what not... They were never together, she only dreamed they were. That's just my interpretation, but it is well justified. Watch the movie again and you will see that with this assumption it makes sense.
sorry im thick-but does this happen?esp 14yrs old0and also for changing sex
For babies, it is done routinely. Teenagers are told, e.g., that it is necessary to remove the testes of an intersex person, because otherwise they will become cancerous. Of course, there is no evidence that indeed a cancer will develop, but this is what the patients are told to agree to be operated on. Or they are told that they have cancer and that the operation is done to remove cancerous organs.
you should open your eyes and see that none of HiaKuea's relationship was toxic why are you people keep saying…
TharnType was toxic because of sexual abuse, LianKuea was toxic because of control issues. It's OK to show problems in a relationship, but the characters have to be called out on those problems. In Cutie Pie, the controlling behaviour of the older boyfriend is showed as understandable and acceptable. This is, to put it mildly, irritating. ;)
