Finally someone wrote things that i can relate. I presume you read the original novel. I really love the author of this novel. Her way of writing is so different and unique, so when i found out that there'll be a drama i was really happy. After watching it I'm really disappointed. Such a good story, made it overly dramatic and cliche. Just for making it interesting but it actually makes it messy and unrealistic and messed up the whole story line. I read somewhere they'll make two kinds of ending.. Is it Neseccery? Author already ended the story such a great way.. But because of just some rating they destroyed such a great novel

A lot of people saying it's not a good drama, just a cliche and teen romantic story.. But saw the first episode. Even though there are many mistakes but it cannot be said it's so bad that it's a waste to watch it. I don't know what other people's opinions but i quite like it. That's why i said pls wait for more episode then rate it as bad or good

Too much emotional and stupidity... Check. Rong xia is like that in the drama. I saw it too, not so likable with that much unnecessary angst. U know when u try to make a story more complicated which doesn't have to be complicated, it's kinda makes it draggy. This one will be like that too. I've 3 problem with this drama-that is change in rong xia's personality and character, trying to make is more dramatic and cliche resulting draggy and of course the ending.. That's it for now

Yes the dynamic of their relationship the writer wrote such a great way, i really missed that in novel. Rong xia loved her first, that changes whole story lol. Ban hua never had to run after him. If she says come, rong xia will run towards her without second thought. Lol here she had to force him to say he likes her..

You're so right about everything.. Finally someone who read the novel. I'm so frustrated that they changed so many good things and dramatize everything.. Forget it I'm happy they made a drama for this novel

For me they wanted to make rong xia's character interesting, but made it messy.. Ruining the whole novel.

There's no misunderstanding in the novel.. They communicate about anything and everything. Whatever they wanna scheme , they did it together so no misunderstanding. I don't know what they're gonna do in the drama... Who knows..

Here I'm ranting cause of Rong xia.. What have they done to his character. He's totally different. Maybe it's true both in the novel and drama rong xia is innately good, but that doesn't justify his character like this. I saw the 20th episode a few moments ago, i found out that rong he kinda flirted with shi feng xia.. At least it looked like that to me.. He's complimenting her if there were more women like her, the country would be prosperous, when he knows that shi family helping the refugees for their own benifit. He was alone with her, complementing her like this. What does this mean.. He's giving her hope. In the novel he was never like that. Most important is he never tried to use hua or her family, he was true to hua and never done anything that'll make hua or anyone doubt his sincerity to hua because he knew hua would not compromise when it comes to other women. He was not so complicated. Yes he wanted revenge but that's only to the emperor. But here in drama he's more ambitious and ambiguous in his motive. U can refute me but i won't take back my word that this rong xia is not likable.. At least to me

Most importantly his character doesn't match to novel at all . In the novel he was not so complex, he didn't had any issue with ban family, he liked them so much because he knew they're genuinely good people. And he liked hua first even before he met her, by listening to others. That's why when he met her, he did everything that might make hua notice him. He never tried to use them but tried to help them when needed. I loved his personality in novel so much. He was so invested in hua and did everything for hua and himself. For the future where he and hua wouldn't need to be threatened. But in the drama i don't like his personality at all. Maybe everyone will disagree with me but i prefer if they didn't change rong xia's character and personality.
