Yess its very similar vibe as evernight but i like this one better. Evernight was very slow in parts. The pacing of immortal ascension is perfect.

When Qu Hun took off his mask, why didn't he look the same? Did i miss the explanation? By the way, the scenes when Han Li remembered his past with Qu Hun are the most emotional for me.

I agree with you but I think its not for everyone. One reason is because the romance is lacking. I just finished this drama and love everything about it. The music, scenery, characters, acting, action scenes . Yang Yang deserve all the praise. I hope most of the cast will return for season 2 especially Yang Yang and Wang Duo. I wish there is more romance. It certainly has the potential for a great romance story even if its not the main focus.

We dont have any details for now but maybe eventually some other informations will come out . His friends might know some informations but they can't or dont want to speak.

I just started this drama and im already hooked after 3 episodes. It remind me a bit of Ever Night. The vibe is so different from other dramas. Its a xianxia with a realistic feel. Ost is so good. Yang Yang is handsome in every angle. I feel like they cut a lot of scenes cause some parts feels a bit strange.
