Im at episode 6 and i feel your pain. The continuous whispering is bothering me. I really like the visual and story but conversations is so slow and overdramatic. I wish they could just talk normally like in other dramas. Lol

All of Li Hong yi dramas takes so much tome to air. Hidden shadow seem to be the exception.

The ending is sad but nit necessarely bad.If you really want happy ending you will feel disapointed.

Very nice drama. The first 19 episodes were slow but i didn't feel the need to fastfoward. I just enjoyed the beautiful visual. If they condensed the first 19 episodes to have a better pacing and with a happier ending, this drama could have been more popular. I was looking for something different from what we see in costumes dramas these days and this one delivered for me. Every characters were interesting. I really liked Maio Feng styling. He was beautiful, mysterious and creepy at the same time. The blue hair should be the next trend. Lol

I completely agree with you. Its a very good story but not typical romance. I did feel like she had feelings for more than one guy. Beside Zhan Bai, her relationship with Miao Feng was the most obvious. She cared way too much for him even after knowing what he did in the past.

I like the pairing between Vengo Gao and Xuan Lu. They look confortable with each other. They have a reasonable age gap and i think it helps. I dont usually like when the leads have a huge age gap. I often feel a distance or a barrier.

Vengo Gao is manly type so very different from other idol actors

Im at episode 15 and its better. I start to feel the chemistry and the story is more interesting. I have to admit that the fighting scenes are quite good for a low budget drama. Vengo Gao is still very sexy despite the bad wig and very simple costumes.😅

Im at episode 7 and i feel disapointed by the quality of the drama. The costumes , wigs and some settings looks low budget. Ive enjoyed some low budget dramas in the past but maybe i had more expectations for this one because of the actors. The conversations between the Fl and Ml are kind of silly. Not their fault. Anyway i hope i will be able to finish it.
