I decided to start this drama because i like Liu xue yi and i remember Avenue X praising this drama. Tiffany Tang mature look really match Liu xueyi . The styling and makeup for the men are really bad. I think Liu xueyi and Wang Hong yi look much more handsome in other dramas.

If you are looking for something different i think its worth trying. Im at episode 27. I dont regret watching this drama. It deserve at least 8 for the acting and originality. But dont expect great romance.

I see more and more of this rumor. Seems like his next project is a slice of life drama with co star Shen Yue. Its not my favorite type of drama but i like Shen Yue☺️ . They could be a cute pair.

I think the drama had potential to be BL but they adapted the story to be close friendhip because of china censorship. There was indeed some moments i felt like their closeness and attachment is beyond ordinary friendship between two men.

Im only on epidode 15 and i can already see it deserve at least 8 for the storytelling, acting and originality.

They sqeezed 2 lifetimes in the second half of the show. The last one felt repetitive and rushed. The two main leads seems to like each other even outside the show. After so many passionate kisses, Im surprised they can remain just friends😅

I think the chemistry between the two leads really saved the drama. They kissed in every episodes but i never got tired of watching their romantic scenes. The story was just too repetitive after the second half and the ending was predictable. Overall still enjoyable.

It wasnt believable. For one because i dont think a king would fall in love with a chef cuisine. Two because he looks younger than her and they have no chemistry.

Since his dramas took so much time to air, i knew something was wrong. Now we know why but maybe its only part of his troubles. No wonder he doesnt smile a lot. I just hope he is not pressured in doing things he doesnt want to. Il keep on supporting him. Wishing him the best.

I always thought Arthur Chen has a very modern appearance but watching this I think he look really good in ancient costumes. He probably took some extra pounds so it helps him look more imposing. Love the costumes and hair. Ting Yan is so cute. Their chemistry is so natural.

I watched some of his dramas and didn't remember. I just thought his voice doesnt match with his face. Anyway, i like his voice.☺️
