Yeah I'm also low-key bummed but to be honest we already get the almost chapter-by-chapter adaptation in the anime and I was really looking forward to seeing stuff on screen that I haven't seen in the anime yet so them skipping a bunch of mostly in-game-stuff-politics isn't a big loss to me.
So far the change in Guoguo's chararacter is most jarring to me, wheras the changes to Ye Xiu I can mostly understand. We really don't need another perfect ML so him being clumsy with real-life stuff was actually more realistic to me, since he spend most of his child- and adulthood playing Glory only.
I'm happy for you. Been watching there myself without vip access so we get 6 episodes a week later but at least it has a good quality.
As a sidenote: Has anyone figured out if you can adjust the subtitels there? Because they are white without a black outline and with everything been so bright you oftentimes can't read the subs properly...
Go Go Squid is nice!! Gaming genre with diabetics romance but dun have the in game scenes
I personally didn't like the gaming aspect of GGS.... it was basically nonexistent. More of a vague backdrop to the romance.
There is more gaming in Gank Your Heart in the way of League of Legends, also other aspects like commentating a game. I find this one better than GGS personally.
But this is where Kings Avatar stands alone so far: Gaming and the team as the central aspect of a show.
Although there are 3 main female leads, this isn't a romance so there is no pairing... And Chen Guo is only annoying…

I'm so annoyed with her character here. That's basically charcter-assassintion. It's like they have aged her character down 10 years... I like the tough no-nonsense Guoguo freom the novel. Also what is that test she is trying to pass? How can she be so dumb and yet still successfully run an NetCafe of that size?
It depends who you are talking about. Guo Guo and Xiao Tang find out at All-Stars after he uses a skill in a way only Ye Qiu can. And when it's formed Team Happy knows. But 'the world' only finds out like geez said after CL.
Im worried....in the novel one of them dies....the cousin mess with one of the cars.....I can not do another sad…

I kinda think that was the point with some of the scenes. Others like his test were supposed to be darker in mood. (Even more so because I didn't understand anything they said...)
I think it's just to show the range in human sexuality and what some think is funny, is normal and a total turn-on for others. I like that the movie itself is very non-judgemental though. With all of the sex scenes being portrayed equally visually frank.
