Most of the locations at Finland are near city of Helsinki. That mountain location actually is not in Finland but in France.

Yes the filming locations are from Helsinki area. Locations are Helsin and Hel cos those are translations of original novel locations.

You noticed that too. Most likely production approach to make the story work. Also the city locations are not logical if you know Helsinki. But the story works, and cinematography looks nice. Great chemistry.
