I really don’t understand MDL rates anymore. This show deserves way more than 7.5, so far (while other dramas with high rates are oftentimes idiotic). This one is funny and light most of the times, but at the same time, it’s unexpectedly deep and I guess it needs some kind of a more mature audience to really get all the nuances (I think I will write a review once it’s over). In any case, I absolutely LOVE Lee Jung Jae in this role: it’s so different from his usual roles (also, very much meta!) and I really wish to see him in more romantic comedies, he’s so, so funny!

Yes, it’s clear why IU plays both roles obviously, I doubt anyone would complain if Park Bo Gum played two different roles, though. But you’re right, it seems he only plays YGS, which means his part it’s pretty much done… weird, considering it’s a main role. The drama is excellent nonetheless, but I would’ve appreciate to see more of him here.

Does anyone know if Park Bo Gum only shows up as young Gwang shik? Because it seems obvious that now that the scene moved to the 80s/90s etc he’s no longer on screen 🥺 I would have honestly be happy to suspend my disbelief if the daughter found a boyfriend who “accidentally” looked like her father when he was young. But from the trailer of Volume 3 it looks like she’s engaged with the soldier guy
What a gem! It’s been a while since I felt this way about a drama (to be honest, I have been feeling for some time that overall quality decreased ever since demand for k-drama increased). 10/10. However…
Am I the only one thinking that Eve is pregnant? “Let’s pretend sex never happened”, but with the whole mission being focused on fertility and “nobody ever did it in the space… I don’t know. Perhaps this is how everyone is going to found out they had sex (although the fact they have to write a report will most probably play a part). Love the show so far, anyway!
This is striking similar to a true child abuse case that, unfortunately, happened in my country (Italy) in 2022... it shocked us, but I think the child here was even younger - a toddler, if I remember correctly. 😢 The mother happily went on a love trip with her beau, leaving the poor child alone for days. My God, such an awful, awful world the one we live in.
There goes another life gone because of the stupid S.Korean society standards and how quickly they just judge…
It seems his wife supported him 100%, but perhaps that wasn’t enough… we can’t really imagine what he’s been through. I guess the biggest star you are, the strongest you hit the bottom when things like these happens. I feel so, so sorry and shocked. 🥺
I have no words. He was one of my favourite Korean actors ever. Just few days ago I rewatched “Pasta”, and just a month ago I finished a rewatch of “My Mister”… when I heard about the scandal, I strongly hoped he had a good support system, but probably it wasn’t enough. I can’t even imagine the pain he must have been through to take such decision, considering he had 2 kids. I feel so sorry for his wife, his children and his family. My only hope is that with the passing of such a great, popular actor (even abroad), even other fellow actors start some sort of a protest… I love South Korea, but clearly the stress people working in the entertainment industry undergo, matched with the hypocrisy surrounding all of this, should really stop. As a friend of mine often said, “behind a person there’s a world we don’t even imagine”. Well, probably SK should start understanding that actors, singers etc are people too. So so sad. 😭😭😭
Kim Yoon Jin is perfect for Raquel/Lisbon! If someone is not familiar with her acting, she was one of the main characters in LOST. She's terrific there, too.
