I wished it was more than 38 eps, i can watch it many times without getting bored.
This is one of the best slice of life drama I’ve ever watched, i don't watch this genre that much but since i like bailu i guve a try when i first heard there will be 38 eps, I was worried there might be filler ep but I was wrong. Each and every eps were interesting. The camera work, scenery, script, acting, everything was flawlesAll the actors delivered outstanding performances and it didn’t feel like acting. The drama was so fresh, realistic and pure. It teaches you how to live life as it is and to find stability. It also shows how strong the bonds between their childhood friendships and their familiesAt first, XWH was desperate to succeed and forgot about humanity and had no empathy but XFH helped him realize success wasn’t everything and to live and love life. And that there’s nothing wrong with failing and that anyone could get up again, Bailu delivered her best and did really well although she usually don’t act in modern realistic dramas. Her acting was raw and her eyes were filled with emotions. She even cut her hair, put on heavy tanned makeup, wore braces although it was uncomfortable without any complaints.

Full entertainment, something hard to forget especially the characters that appears in every arc.
I really enjoyed this drama a lot. Bai Lu is truly my favorite actress—I know her techniques and abilities well, yet with every new role, she never fails to amaze me by adding something fresh to her acting and improving in every performance. As a fan, I’m completely satisfied with her outstanding performance, and I’m definitely looking forward to her upcoming roles, confident that she will shine once again. The acting from all the cast was also great, the directing was good, and the cinematography was absolutely stunning—it perfectly matches my personal taste, making it one of the best visual works in this genre so far. The costumes were elegant and beautiful, and I really loved the makeup style—it was very fitting, especially for Bai Lu, who looked absolutely gorgeous in those outfits and makeup.
I feel sorry that they cut so many of her fight scenes. She would return from filming covered in bruises, yet they cold-heartedly removed her scenes, wasting all her effort. If only I could get my hands on the production team that missed the chance to show Bai shuo in her true form—stronger and more of a fighter. But alas, it’s too late now.
If someone asks whether it’s worth watching… hmm, well, if you’re a fan of this genre, then it’s definitely worth a try. You can watch a few episodes and see if it works for you.
I will not forget MM and each character.
