Yes, because of the research for your leaning attitude towards the Japanese BLs, I'm stuck in Japan now, as I found another really funny series "A Man Who Defies The World of BL" with my favorite actor, who played a more believable Yakooza in Dangerous Buddy that Kamol in UN and he looks like Thom York, when he was young - but I don't want to bore you further... Chiniese Series: Oh that sounds good! My first Asian series that threw me for a loop was Meteor Garden, CN. Then I watched K2 with Ji Chang Wook and then my life was over. In the meantime, I watched another pretty good mature C-Drama, but also interrupted some. That's quite a world to get lost in. Discord: I don't know it, but sounds like fun, maybe you can send me the link, then I'll try it out and we don't have to discuss over Check Out any further ;) By the way I just discovered this today: https://youtu.be/_ptndHsT8XY You as a pro probably know the sequence, but I was really happy today!

So, now I have normal internet again! And have looked at your Japanese series - with the result that I think I can not help you;) Both series are already very in the Japanese style (even if somewhat in the moderate). Pornografer I watched the first season, but I found the role of the Novellist a bit unappealing (besides, he's not my type at all - and that's a basic requirement for me in BLs, that everyone is at least likeable). "Cherry Magic" I liked very much and even found it quite amusing. Both have the typical basic scheme: disoriented, psychologically damaged man meets strong character. The characters' tendency to psychic self-destruction often makes it almost impossible to stand the foreign shaming. But between the lines, the stories are always valuable and well told. My favorite series is "Utsukushii Kare" (My Beautiful Man). Here the psycho character is really extreme and until the two come together it is a painful way, but it is a very nice story. The second another series that I found extremely cute from the actors (though anything but sexy...) is "Fukou-kun wa Kiss Suru Shikanai!" But I don't want to steal your time to tell you about Japanese BLs. If you like martial arts, you might be better off in Japan. Very nice would be for example "Rurouni Kenshin", where the main actor looks to die... What I don't know at all are BLs from China - maybe you know something good! Tomorrow I'll try the eclipse - and of course Love in The Air!

At the moment I am on holiday and my data volume is almost over. Next week, when I'm back home, I'll take a look at the series you found terrible. Because we actually have pretty much the same taste;) By the way: Check Out now has 5.9 points, which says it all.

Ah here is the difference in taste! I haven't seen either of them, but I do like the Japanese series, I love Japanese design and it comes into play a bit in the films. The characters are a bit strange, but the stories often show a different point of view. Utusukushii Kare and Life on the Line didn't make my heart race, but at least I found them worth watching.

Yes, I know exactly what you mean. After climbing Mount Everst, only lower mountains remain and a certain emptiness sets in... what are we supposed to do? I agree with you about the Taiwanese series: Trapped and Be loved in the House are not bombs! They're not my thing either. Innocent was a bit strange but very heartwarming. I like it very much. You can try it, it's a short series, if you don't like it, not much time is lost. I saw Moneyboys at the cinema the last time - the film was great too, but I don't know if it's available on the internet yet. I fully agree with your list of Korean series. I also liked Were the eyes linger. However, I always find the interaction between the actors a little lacking in most Korean series, if you know what I mean. When they fall asleep next to each other in street clothes, I get yawny. Then I might as well watch an exciting series without bl ;). So, tomorrow I'll try out your Eclipse. And we haven't discuss about the Japaniese World...

It seems we have nearly the same taste. Not me is not my second, is also one of my favorites. First of all, black/white is really well played and the pair fits together insanely well in the location. My number two remains semantic error, because with the series my BL addiction began...😵

We Best Love- I don't know why, but my heart goes out to this couple! Maybe because they come across so unpretentious and natural. Also, I think this has the best reunion kiss scene of any BL stories! Only terrible in the series is the outfit of the main characters... I read that there will be a 3rd season - that would be to my taste! I like the style of Taiwanese series very much - a small unknown series "Innocent" has also touched me very much.

Yes, it was the same for me! I checked out of Thai BL's more or less after KP and checked into Taiwan and Japan. The Eclipse I don't know, I'll take a look before I watch WBL for the 4th time...Thanks
As a farewell gift I'm raising my rating to 10/10. This series has brought me true enjoyment -- admittedly much…
Yes! I agree with you! I also wanted to give more points than the series might be worth. Because 1. the comments and dikussions on the site are so funny and controversial that I've never read so much and 2. the real threesome for me is kim, kamol and the schmaltzy song by boy sompob! Point deduction is for the stupid tigers and for the fact that in the cottage again all had fun, only auntie had to cook.... And to all who have rated Tuxedo higher: shame on you!
Better to remember the name of the director and the screenwriter in order not to lose another 12 hours of your life. If you shorten the whole series to 20 minutes, the last scene with the baby really makes sense.
Perhaps the fault is not necessarily to be found in Unforgotten Night, but rather in the fact that KinnPorsche…
Despite bad internet, I couldn't help it and started Love in the Air. Even though the chick in the lead role seems a bit awkward as an actor and the Thais move the hottest motorcycles only at 30 kilometers per hour, the series could have potential.
Why is this series so cute at the first episode then at the second episode it became boring and the characters…
I completely agree with you! From this series I have learned to never again watch an onging series, because one bad episode per week you can cope with, but if you watch several at a time, you can not stand the progression into deathly boring
Perhaps the fault is not necessarily to be found in Unforgotten Night, but rather in the fact that KinnPorsche…
I also saw "Be loved in the house", I also liked it - History 3 Trapped I found similarly nice. I'm currently on Netflix, Dramacool, Rakuten Viki and Bilibili, if you say on YouTube is also still a lot to discover - oh God - I have to quit my job to have more time for my hobby!

Thanks again for taking so much trouble with me, even though we may have different tastes.... I have seen many of your Japanese film tips, because I love the aesthetics of the Japanese. I'm also a fan of martial arts, lots of blood and really wacky movies - the Japanese serve that perfectly. In the cinema I recently saw moneyboys, the film impressed me, but it's Taiwanese and an open ending - I don't think that's your taste. Now I have 3 weeks of bad internet on vacation and thus forced break - after that I will devote myself to your tips!

Wow, you went to a lot of trouble to answer me! I think I owe you an answer for that. You're right, everyone has their own taste. Very briefly on my historical background: before the pandemic, I had a cultural life outside the home. I've always been interested in Asian films, but in the country I come from, you can only see them at festivals, or at night at midnight on the cultural programme. Then 2.5 years ago I discovered the asian series via Netflix and have been addicted ever since, unfortunately.... The first BL I watched was Semantic Error, which I still think is great, especially since the lead actor Park Seo Ham resembles a sculpture and the female roles are also cool and not as annoying as in most Thai series. I then came across TharnType via several Korean BL's, which finally killed my interest in other genres. In the meantime I'm also a fan of the music of Gulf and Mew (Spaceman -great)! Unfortunately, 2gether is too good for me, although I also like to listen to Scrubb because of the series. In addition - I don't want to brag - I have to say that I saw Win Metwin in person in Milan this year and have to admit that there's nothing sweetly boyish about him at all, but that he's a real phenomenon with a great aura! I admit I'm a big Bright fan, because I don't think there's a man who looks as in love as he does, when he looks to Win... I haven't seen many of the series you mentioned otherwise, but they are on my wish list. I interrupted Bad Buddy and Dark Blue Kiss because I didn't like the main characters that much and the story played in the genre of university again, which bores me at some point now. Maybe I'll have to get over it again. I also found Love Mechanics very nice, because the two skin actors are really very natural and Hwan. I'm currently working my way through Manner of Death. The series has a good storyboard, but not enough 18+ of what I want to see, just like a really good yakuza series from Japan: Dangerous Buddy. I saw Not Me, which I thought was great because it was set outside the rich glamour world. To come to my secret love: BL Taiwan. We Best Love will forever be in my heart. Zhou Shu Yi and Goa Shi De are to die for, especially in season 2! I also find Innocent incredibly touching, both from the acting and the location. Finally, coming back to KP. There really isn't an episode wasted here, the series is one big fun. Especially as Apo is, for me, the best looking man in the world (followed by Hyun Bin, but again that's personal taste).
