Khun New (the director of Reminders and Love by chance) doesn't own the copyrights anymore so he can't use any characters from Khun Mame's novel (Ae, Pete, Tin, Can are her characters so everyone who wants to use these characters needs her permission).
This project is not supposed to be continuation of Love by Chance or LoveSick, it's just small project, which brings all K'New's couples to fans again.

Why do you think K'Mame wouldn't allow the main actors to play their characters? I think she has quite good relationship with all of them, because she posted many photos with them on her twitter.
I really don't know how are things between her and K'New, but TharnType the series has different director, cast and probably sponsors too so it has actually nothing to do with LBC.

I am not Thai, so I can't say anything for sure. During LBC there were many problems and everything was messed up (especially between Perth's and Saint's managers), but I think Reminders could happen, because few months ago there were some changes in Perth's agency (Cooheart is now with Wabi Sabi, Perth, Plan, Title and Gun are with P'Gin and P'Pupae and Mark is with P'Big, so maybe it was possible to clear things up.
About copyrights.. I don't think that Khun Mame (author of the LBC novel) have any problems with actors and Khun New (director of LBC), so maybe if he decided to make SS2, she would agree and give him copyrights to series. So possibility of SS2 depends on K' Mame, K' New, sponsors (who insist on none of the main actors can be recast) and relationship between K'New and managers. Another thing is that when Khun New decided to not making a second season, he had already several projects in mind so now he's making WHYRU the series and UWMA the series, so although everything seems alright now, he really can't work on another project, it would be too much to handle right now.
I think if he he ever decides to do work with same people again and make LBC SS2, he won't talk about it until it's 100% certain, because this topic is weak spot for everyone and he would put himself under enormous pressure, if he promised something.

I totally agree. For me Krist and Singto are one of my two favorite couples (the second one is Perth and Saint). Their chemistry is insane and I have to say I am totally weak for Krist's acting skills. I watched it without subtitles at first, not understanding anything, and still I was crying like a baby with Krist's first tear cause he made the moment so powerfull..

I think there is no drama between Ae and Pete in Love by Chance simply because all of the major drama between them is going to happen in the second book, which is not included in LBC series. I agree, that TinCan ending was quite devastating, but that's what happened in the book actually..

I agree and I am not disappionted by AePete ending too, because all I can see through this scene is how strong relationship and feeling they have built.
I am really glad that Director's cut version came out, because when I saw the first shorter one, I couldn't chase away the feeling, that something is missing. . It was too rushed and blank for me.
AePete couple was my number one from beggining till the end too and I am really glad that we could finally see such a healthy, confident and tender relationship. In other BL series, we can mostly see the same cliché and constructed drama and many people would say that is what's happening in real live but honestly? Most begginings of relationships look exactly like something we could see between Ae and Pete.

I agree that's a right decision because of the mess we can see during last months. I am glad it was officially confirmed so we don't have to wait with a false hope for SS2 but still for now I just can't imagine not seeing Ae/Pete ever again.. So I understand you, I feel myself happy and relieved but at the same time just sad (but not disappointed).

As a European I wasn't actually very interested in Asian BL movies/series when I was a teenager so I started with Brokeback Mountain, Queer as folk etc.. Now, at the age of 22, I've started with Asian series and I totally fell for it. My very first was Advanced Bravely and then it was Together with me, Sotus, HIStory, Waterboyy (I've watched many others but these are my favourites so far).
LBC is just a different dimesion for me, I haven't seen anything as pure, sincere and warm as this series before. It's like a little precious gem in my eyes.

Can anyone tell me name of the actor who plays Ping? He is neither listed here in support roles.. I think, that's really shame, because he's simply amazing, although his role isn't so important in LBC.
