That's right. The first time she met him, he is a supposed to be great evil demon who just escape prison. How should she react? I blamed dramatic ass ZYZ who want to meet his beloved immediately, he could request to meet her like a normal person. LOL

I think she held her own well against LL even though she is weak, but apparently that's still not enough for some people. LOL

People are arguing with strawman. The supposed 'perfect' get hit on the shoulder by a merely human and failed to protect a demon in the very first episode. FL was never framed as perfect in anyway.

Like I said , if he brought a bottle like the one she used to store the water later, I would realize immediately. So I kind of understanding that she thought he is forced feeding her some kind of loyalty-enforcing poison or something. It's a trope, kidnapping the love interest, use mindcontrol, leave her to the hero, control her to hurt the hero.

It's not an excuse. LOL It didn't even cross my mind that water is the one they're looking for because it looks like something to drink and I don't think the way to use the yao water is to drink it/consuming it. I thought he would force feed her some kind of poison or something. I kind of know about her demoness form before hand so I might have tunnel vision a little.

To be fair to her, I don't think she know LL just put the the precious water in a tea cup like that. LOL. I only realize its significant after they talk about it.

I know, I just play devil's advocate because people start to moan 'human is worse than demon' which I think is very unfair.

Doesn't matter about the water anyway, the mountain god can purify it just like that immediately in the following ep. This does raise my eyebrows a little bit while watching.

This is the one complain I have about the story. The Baize Goddess's power is the central plot of the show, but it doesn't seem to be matter much.

LOL. Simply it's the prime minister get killed and they have witnesses' description so they're able to post wanted posters. No one seems to care random farmers get killed either in the same ep. I'm sure that demon will get a long sympathetic flashback too while the audience forget about the farmer.

To be fair, he also messed it up with the token. And do you remember that he know that culprit of the Ran Yi's case, but he didn't even tell them. Also, I though you said he wanted to 'trade', not 'helping'.

And the human did try to jail ZYZ, but he escaped and only being weakened by WX's poison laden knife. Again, biased framing. They treat it as a 'cool' and 'funny' scene while in fact it's a great demon, who just kill somebody, just escape the prison. Watch the drama, OMG. You just choose to frame it negatively against the human

And you think demons isn't? There is always inherent bias for the ingroup and against the outgroup.

Do you remember how he kill that guard in the same ep? Or it's okay because he's not named he deserve it.

LOL. People think the shows bias against demons, but I would like to put the record straight that the show is in fact biased against human. Human are always no name characters get killed without any sympathy from the audiences.

Like the story with Ran Yi, the drama shows his doom love life with Miss Qi without showing you the pains he causes for other victims. If they showed the parents of those brides crying for their daughters, the reception would changed immediately. The same can be said about CH's victims too. They're just no name characters, so their deaths mean nothing to the audiences.

I see people complain about WX stabbing ZYZ in the first ep, I wonder if they remember how he killed a member of the DHB without even a blink? He was clearly in control then, and he kill that guard to simply get what he wanted, not for some noble causes. And don't forget his tendency to 'act' to get sympathy. He did it from the very first ep. I love his character being cool like that, not being a victim of mistreatment like some people want to treat his character.

I love the show, and I'm only saying this because people start to bring morality into this and propping up the demons too much. I think the show requires more nuances that just 'demons are better than human'.

Sad that we have only that little scene with Demoness Wen Xiao. Goddess Wen Xiao is still very cute though, they way she propped her chin on her palm , then tapped her cheek with her fingers.
