Man she should have never dated him, he was so much older than her, basically all her 20s wasted on a man like…
The large age gaps between couples seem to be common in East Asian nations. The entertainment seems to encourage it. The main couple in romance dramas is often played by actors with a large age gap. E.g. in Royal Nirvana 2019 (a brilliant wuxia drama) the main couple (Li Yi Tong 1990 and Lou Jin 1981 ) had a nine year age difference. The massive age between the main lead actors in the Korean romance drama Beautiful Gong Shim (2016) is gross - The male lead born in1978; female lead born in 1993! My Sunshine - the age gap in 20 years.🤮
If this is true, I wish them all the best but I don't like the large age gap. BTW, I mistakenly thought the first photograph was of them standing next to each other! I am obviously asking for too much. 😆
They are both very entertaining dramas but See you in my 19th life is my favourite because of Shin Hye Sun's mesmerising performance and its more Intriguing and heartfelt plot.
Shin Hye Sun is a brilliant actress. She always delivers a top class performance. On the other hand, except for his great work in the action and romance dramas Healer and K2, and the romantic comedy 'Suspicious Partner', none of his other TV drama work was interesting. For instance, the Sound of Magic and Lovestruck in the city are both dreadfully boring.
It is a boring drama. The plot is pedestrian and the romance between the main actor and actress wasn't believable. The male lead's performance is lacklustre.
