This was an above average drama maily because of the excellent performances of the young actors and actresses. I was especially impressed by In Yoop and Hye Won's performances. Chang Wook's performance was solid but uncompelling. He is obviously a talented stage musical actor and his work in action thriller genres is excellent (eg. Healer and K2). The plot didn't make sense. What exactly is he? A mentally ill man who performs fake magic to form friendships with high school students?
This is a wonderful drama. The main leads are performing exceptionally well. I note a few of people here are upset with the apparent lack of developement of particlaur support characters. Do all characters have to be fleshed out? For example, why do we need to know the intricate detaila of Jun ho's background to understand and appreciate who he is? How will this make us understand him better? K-dramas arguably do this unnecessarily at times.
Pedeastrian plot. The female lead performed well but the male main lead's performance was bland. I couldn't warm to his character, Eun-ho and his relationship with Dan-i wasn't convincing. The relationships between the other characters were more interesting and realistic.
