He completely stole the show in Mother. I could feel the desolation and helplessness from him. Honestly the grownup version was so by the book and paled in comparison to this kid that, the later part of the movie felt like a chore. especially since there was another child actor there as well. If he has a fairly happy and caring life, he's gonna be a great actor. (Well he already is)

Kamiki Ryunosuke was given a newbie award last year, he celebrated his 25th year of debut that year. The awards, from what I'm thinking are kind of lost in translation.
