Do c-dramas of this drama type come serious? If you are expecting serious you are in the wrong genre. As far as pretending to be male. People see what they want to see. It’s amazing what evidence people will see and disregard. And she may have been rather overly modest and weak but she didn’t act how girls behaved in that era, So I don’t feel too bad that they were oblivious males. Totally agree with what said about the SFL, but then her character just made it more obvious why the SML would prefer the leading lady.

I started the same way - with Meteor Garden. But I think I might retire Heirs - there actually is a limit of repeats for me.

Lee Dong Wook has my no.1 spot. The relationship between his characters and their counterparts in both Guardian and Tale of the nine-tail had me more interested than the actual plot-line or romances.

Yes. Lee Jong Suk - text predictor came into play and I didn’t check. I personally think that one was more a collaboration between guys vs a bromance. However, it has been awhile since I watched and my memory on that one is a little hazy. Still I don’t think I’d give it no.1 spot.

I’m struggling on this one - I love Lee Jong Sui’s work but I can’t remember a bromance in any of the shows he’s in.

I was really unsure of watching this one but Ji Sung’s acting was so on point I was easily hooked. I th8nk he might be one of the most versatile of current k-drama actors.

Sm:)e. Chinese drama. Best romcom I’ve ever seen hands down.

So many good OST’s. I tend to like the faster, rock type songs versus the selected ones above. So here are my picks:-
* VRomance’s ‘Now’ from Suits (By the way Suits is worth checking out it is a billion times better than the American version which was so cringeworthy that I couldn't finish the first episode)
* ‘Blue Moon’ by Kim Jong Wang from ‘Tale of the Nine-tailed’.
and for a more subdued piece
* ‘When I saw you’ by Bumkey from ‘A Korean Odyssey’

Go Ho’s Starry Night (short episodes perfect for quick fixes)
Lucky’s first love

My Dear Lady
Because This is my first life
Sweet Dreams
And of course O2O

O2o is on the top of my Drama Valium list, If that doesn’t help I’ll even reread the original novel. Also on my Valium list is ‘Coffee Prince’, ‘Put Your head on my shoulder’ and ‘My Secret Romance.’
If Valium won’t do it, fairy floss will. They are short, sweet, unsubstantial and uncomplicated tv shows. My fairy floss includes ‘Noble, My love’ and ‘GoHo’s Starry Night’.

I wasn’t overly impressed with the first two episodes. I’m so glad I continued because not I’ve finished the fourth I’m hanging out for the rest.

Suits

While often the book is better than the screen there are still some that have left me satisfied. In this case I prefer the character of Ye Qui more in this drama vs the webnovel. In the wn he comes off a lot more self-centred puffing away in his own nicotine haze. So far I'm feeling pretty happy with their take on the story.

It's a c-drama - they specialise in product placement.

Why I love K-drama bingo. Pick your choice of k-drama favourite scenes. There's
- accidental stolen first kiss
- overnight stay at the hospital because they are overworked or have a cold.
- arm grab
- trip and catch by LM
- Drinking scene at a street bar
- flashback
- temporary amnesia
- sobbing uncontrollably
- the end of episode stare off etc, etc,etc
Have a drink or in my case a piece of chocolate for each scene you get right.
Plenty of other games along that line.
