I agree on so many points, even though my lack of understanding of the mentality could be partly to blame. Firstly, attitude towards children (you leave a 10 or 12 year old kid with some money and instruction to seek a friend he never saw before that day if, in the course of coming days, he needs some help?). Secondly, the ML's total lack of human communication - I'm not sure I ever heard him say 'Hello' to anyone. Especially romance wise, FL is left to devine ML's thoughts and emotions from the shape of clouds on the specific day, and she is totally happy to do so. Is that behavior supposed to represent 'strong, silent' macho? So perhaps this is really a compulsory lesson to special forces/police/army wives, good luck to them..
