In Birth of Beauty she doesn't show up after "transforming" except maybe flashbacks. Unlike that drama, Perfume has both Ha Jae Sook and Go Won Hee playing Min Jae Hee. She's like in every episode as her "transformation" is not a permanent fix. She has to keep using the miracle perfume.
Is she being fatshamed? Yes, unfortunately as this is a norm that society especially Korea suffers from. But how this drama presents itself is much different. I can't say without spoiling the drama so please give this drama a try.
The last episode is the best. This season was totally better than the first one because that was only there to lay the ground work of the story and season two is where all the action takes place. Now the final season would deliver the conclusion. I'm so sad that we have to wait two months. :'(

Same. I criticized her opinion but she criticized my "paygrade" like it means anything on a drama database site lmfao. I said how wrong she is to judge a couple by her looks and by their star sign because these are things that are completely out of their control. Yet she screams, "you misunderstood me! you're just hating!" What a unbelievable prick. Goes to show how she values her opinion and closed minded that she's not willing to listen to other perspective/opinion. I'm not flaunting or anything but I've learn to practice reading comprehension growing up. The only reason she thinks I'm misunderstanding her is she refuses to read to what I've wrote. I think it makes sense he's attached to her. She mentioned she saw him and Saenarae in her dreams. She listens and relies on him. Him being a person deprived of human interaction and affection makes him sought after it. He hasn't been betrayed enough to not trust others easily.

No one has control over their looks not even when they undergo plastic surgery. What matters is that they get along but here you are trying to excuse that their looks is the reason why they divorced. There are lots of women out there who are a victim of their resting b*tch face that doesn't reflect their personality at all. Yes, zodiac signs mean nothing. Even though I personally enjoy reading into those kinds of things. The stars and the planets don't determine whats your star sign nor your future. The reason people believe their sign is accurate is either pure coincidence or they mold themselves into it. "Real" horoscope compatibility sites will list everything other sites say but will always point out: as long as the couple works it out their problems together then they won't split up. That's the reality there.

LMAO that undertale track that played while they're exercising. I'm glad that the rating is finally at 8, this drama is way too underrated. I love it so much, its such a drag to wait for the next episodes.
People think its another "ugly/fat woman transforms into beautiful girl and her world gets better" kind of drama but its quite different than that. In those typical dramas, she transforms and doesn't see the past side of her anymore but this drama, the female lead has a perfume that transforms her to her early 20s beautiful self and it only works for 12 hours. Difference is, she used to be beautiful, she used to have self-confidence but she lost all that after settling down. Don't think that's meant to belittle married life but that's how the married life affected her. There's other factors like her husband which I won't spoil here but watch it for yourself.

The average kdrama viewer is too used to non-fiction modern dramas and semi-modern. This is probably one of the first completely fiction and fantasy drama in a completely different universe. People are mistakenly interpreting Historical as something real when it doesn't imply that it actually happened. The bits of pieces of history we see is human species divided by tribes while they're still i the stages of settling pre-industrialized era and Neanderthals still exist.
