I was skeptical of this drama because of its low rating so I didn't think about watching this but this is really good. Please do not let ratings and others' opinions sway you. Make the judgement for yourself and give the drama a chance. I'm a little disappointed that people who haven't seen a single episode of this drama already make a decision without seeing it. Don't be a sheep, make a choice for yourself.
The only downsides are cliches but that isn't really an alarming issue.
I love her with all my heart. I'm so happy she finally got to shine as a lead actress during Fight For My Way. She's also a shawol and got the chance to act in the same drama with 2 SHINee members. She's a lady with fine taste! :' )
This is a wonderful drama and i hype it so much. I'm so angry that Wangshik didn't get the hero ending he deserved. But his last moments were done without showing his face or any last words. I was about to rage at the drama creators until I found out him or/and his agency thought a fanmeet was more important?
So much that happened in episode 35/36: - Hyuk and his mother are officially enemies - Min Yura is back as Dowager's ally - the chemistry between Sunny and Wangsik may be starting to kick in - Helro and Yoon patched up their conflicts (I love them pls stay together) - Kang hee drowned empress So Hyun - events that showed at the beginning of episode 1 have finally caught up to the current episode where authorities have found So Hyun's body on the imperial family's property
why can't they both just have imperfections like normal people and like a normal couple. why make it a plot device…
Thank you, and I applaud your comprehension as well. I don't blame you for assuming the worst because a handful would choose to say "its just a drama" which is just horrible passive thinking. Media and entertainment is so influential therefore should hold responsibility over their power . That is why minority and marginalized groups demand to be represented and have their voices to be heard. Women are still heavily discriminated even when there was so much achieved in the past century. Asia has one of the slowest growths towards liberating from stereotypes and othersocial/political limitations.

I agree. Its a whole different story to rant about if the male is imperfect personality wise and we can criticize the cliché around that. But this drama steps up a whole new level when the male is already perfect LOL. Why is this even a story? How can a character be a character when they have no flaws. Its just so ridiculous. So is the woman now a prop to make him imperfect therefore making him more realistically human? This sends a bad message to the female youth because its just teaching them their life purpose is to fulfill a man's life and she can never the master of her own fate.
