Hii, actually I am planning to write a ff based on this show. The fl will be an original character (replacing Xu Rulan) and the male lead is tentatively supposed to be a retired chinese esports player that I like. The setting is that fl is sapiosexual and the ml is gonna be a psycholgy student at a top uni in china after retirement and is going to pursue a career in that aside from livestreaming part time due to fans and contractual obligations with his club. So if anyone is interested in the premise, you can give suggestions. I'd really appreciate it.

Also I watched a few analysis videos since I couldn't help but spoil myself and I quite agree with most of them which are saying that Jiao's behaviour is just moving himself not Lanlan. It just gives the same feeling as those boys in uni who would light up candles and sing songs under the dorm of the girl they like to confess. But that's just my opinion and maybe I don't have the full picture. Also I found a lot of people in douyin comments saying that Lanlan is sapiosexual (I don't know if it is sth she revealed on the show or people are just thinking that) so acc to that she won't be moved by just sincerity or efforts. She would be attracted to a person who has sth she admires or can look upto. In Fang's case, it was also his profession that attracted her first and they also seem to have conversations on a deeper level that just the materialistic things that Jiao did. So I based my comment on her supposed sapiosexual personality.

Tbh, I haven't watched the whole show. I am waiting for it to end and then binge watch because it is a mess rn with all the love triangles. But I prefer two way relationships than one sided chasing. And I watched a clip of their (Lanlan and Jiao) dinner and it felt like she was politely rejecting him.

Tbh, if I was in Lanlan's place I would also chose Doctor Fang. I just hope there is no reversal. Even if there is, let him be happy alone and don't involve him in the love triangle mess.
