FL was so incredibly infuriating. The chemistry, pacing, story telling aspects of the drama were fantastic and yet it was overshadowed by how manipulative and toxic FL was. I was so frustrated by her actions and her cowardly manner. This could have been a 10/10 and just for FL's immature antics, I gave it an 8/10

I absolutely love the actors which is why I got into this drama in the first place. I'm super disappointed though at how toxic ML ended up being. His insecurity and moodiness was such a huge turn off. I wanted to root for the leads but seeing how he would treat her physically and emotionally was so toxic I couldn't. Such a bummer because I thought the story and production was high value.

Only thing disappointing is that the ending didn’t show them having a wedding even though it was talked about for nearly half the series. Would have loved to see them finally get married and building the house of their dreams 😭

Absolutely loved this drama. Leo Wu was the main reason I watched it but I was blown away by the superb writing, dialogue, and character development. The deep dive into relationships and nuances of love and hate were fantastic. Truly enjoyed the ride and am sad it’s over. I do wanna say if they had a better OST that would play during poignant scenes, it would have made it even better. It was fine though. Highly recommended!!

I watched this for the actors initially and I was entertained enough. I liked the second season more but I have to say a few tropes were getting really old and overdone. The whole sacrificing and taking turns dying and coming back to life killed this drama for me. They barely had any happy moments together and it was mostly who was gonan die for the other. Even the side characters had this issue

The only drama that I’ve ever watched all the way through without skipping once! I loved the story, the romance, and the characters! A well written female protagonist with a warm hearted, dedicated male lead? This has it all. I also just loved that there was not a lot of typical tropes and back and forth with the leads. It was a healthy, loving relationship that was witty and fun as well. Ugh 9.5/10

This movie is definitely not as shallow as the description makes it out to be. While I hate affairs, I think the movie did a good job exploring the complexities in relationships and also values around family, obligations, freedom, and our own ideas of happiness.

Right? and honestly those heart breaking moments were amplified by the beautiful music. Absolutely drove the point home and hence the waterworks T____T

Overall, great drama. For me, it's on par with Long Ballad and TMOPB (granted I know they are different, I just mean in overall feeling and quality). I may be in the minority here but I actually think the second half of the drama was much more heart wrenching, emotional, and interesting. First drama I've seen with Dong Yu and I think she did a great job. In general, prepare a box of tissues because you're going to need it lol

I admit that I only started watching this because of Xu Kai. I adore him. The drama could have been less draggy and interesting if it was 24 episodes. I wasn't a fan of FL because of her one expression and immaturity for a majority of the drama but I do think the romance between the two of them towards the end was cute. I agree with other comments in that 2nd FL and 2nd ML did steal the show in some parts!

This drama is a guilty pleasure of mine. It's like a wattpad story with the poor writing, editing, and cheesiness but Luke sells the Hot Boss well. The fact that I can look past the obvious flaws because of him is something else. Their relationship is problematic though and I find that unfortunately, he is lacking the sincerity that would sell me on the relationship especially towards the end. Anyways, I would be lying if I wasnt gonna watch it again simply because the tension between the two is fireeee

What a fantastic drama. I’m still listening to the OST on repeat to relive those moments. Great storytelling, character development, strong female lead, and a male lead that supports FL without need of possessing her or limiting her agency. The withdrawal is baddd

A bit passed the half way mark and I am in total love with this drama. It gives me Story of Ming Lan vibes in the slow burn romance, consistent love, trust, and communication between the couple. I always appreciate the maturity of this couple and their constant respect for each other. The growth in all the characters have you rooting for them. It's a slow paced show but so rich in story and feeling. I need more dramas like this!!
