With The First Frost, we were all delighted that Sang Yan never gave up all these years; we were downright obsessed.…
I think a lot of the difference comes down to how the story is told. In The First Frost, we see things mostly from Yifan’s side, even when she disappeared, so it’s easy to understand her and Sang Yan’s love.

In Our Generation, the story mainly follows Ying Tao, so we don’t see much of Qiaoxi’s struggles at first. He just told Ying Tao not to forget him and then disappeared, so viewers didn’t really know what he was dealing with. That makes it harder to connect with him right away—not because his pain isn’t real, but because we don’t see it early on.

It’s not really people having double standards — it’s just how the story is told that shapes how we feel about the characters. Both dramas show deep love and devotion, but because we experience them differently, people react differently.

Okay tbh some people's tan are not always all over the body like sometimes theres a discoloration.
A "farmer's tan" refers to a suntan that creates a noticeable line around the exposed areas of the body, typically the arms, neck, and face, while the rest of the body remains pale. This uneven tan is caused by prolonged exposure to the sun while wearing clothing that covers the torso and legs.

Title Family by Choice Spoiler
I am loving it so far, really doing justice to the OG
The OG is one of my favorite dramas, but it wasn't perfect. I think the OG did a better job with the childhood scenes, but the new version is really picking up. I really like how the return of the parents is handled here (in terms of explanation) and the characters' reactions to their return.... Finally the dad is speaking up: "Sojeong's death isn't your fault. It didn't happen because you two were alone. It happened because we left you two alone. So you don't need to feel apologetic to anyone. " T-T

for those of us who have watched hidden love and this, I think there’s a lot of similarities between Duan Jiaxu…
I feel like DJX was super protective and treated his gf like a child because he met her when she was 14, a immature teenager, and she is his best friend's younger sister so he always regarded her as his own little sister making him already protective. Additionally, he wanted to make himself better because he thought he was not good enough for her so he just wanted to protect her the best he could and hope that she is always happy and safe. So, even though they only have a 5 year age gap, he will always treat her like a child because that's how he interacts with her. He hopes that she can live like a carefree child. In the past, she was protected by her parents and brother. Now he wants to continue that and continue to spoil her because she's like his sunshine. She cares for him and helps him get through hard times because she there to comfort him whenever he's feeling depressed. On contrary, LYY met YG as an adult. They're both very mature people and he doesn't treat YG like a child because there's no reason to. She's never acted like a child and she doesn't need LYY's protection. Yes, LYY is protective of her but she's also a strong character. She can take care of herself fine. I'm not saying that SZ couldn't but I feel like the protection that DJX gives is from feeling sense of responsibility as both a brother and a boyfriend so he still treats her like a child but the protection that LYY gives is as a boyfriend. LYY has never regarded YG as a child because she's a grown adult so even though they have a 5-6 year age gap, LYY will always regard her as a adult.

“Forever Love” is a drama where the female lead is portrayed as smart.
It’s similar to this drama where it shows high school and college life.
