It's giving longer version of vertical drama with A-list actors. Not hating on the actors (I quite like the drama) but I think this is a drama the production company just produced because why not. It's not anything new. Just giving my two cents.

All I can say is that even if you are a fan of someone watching the drama and enjoying it does come down to whether you like this type of genre or not. If you do you will really enjoy the drama. This drama is is as memorable to me as "Starry Love". I just hope that everyone has an open mind if you want to give anything a go.

I think the reason why Bing Zhu could absorb the three demons soul is when we the drama went back to when Hong Ye was human and how the human race got powers from the deity. I presume that humans gaining stronger powers is different from demons.

I've just finished the drama and after reading the comments and seeing people's unhappiness with the ending. I've come to the conclusion, especially after going back to episode 2 which is the memory she has chosen back to go to, that her fate with Hong Ye really starts when they tie the red thread around their wrist especially with the meaningful meaning a red thread has in China. I get that they 'undid it' but for me I truly believe it all started when their fate were intertwined and written in the starts. Apart from that I think I was deeply absorbed in the drama and, to me, it was hands down one of the best dramas to start the new year.

I need this drama, as in, today...at this very moment pls.😭
