To my surprise, I don’t mind the pacing so far! Honestly, it’s much better than s1 and I think we are getting more sweet scenes than all of those frustrating, villian scheming scenes. I am PRAYING this continues. I hated alll of the Jin Mu scenes in s1.
Aside from Jin Mu and his cronies apparently nobody else knows.
Ooh! I wonder if the main crony will reveal it this season. This act has to get out somehow. Or maybe Jin Mu will reveal it himself when he finally gets the punish he deserve?
Next week Jang UK will fight for his WIFE OMG, why the hell does this sound so good. 'Wife', they are now husband…
YASSSSS I am going to cling to that through all the BS and schemes the Jin siblings are going to throw through this second part. They are 100% the root of allllll the drama and angst.
I agree episodes 1-6 seem all over the place…but I’m HOOKED and will continue watching to figure out what this is all about.
Did Allen have a major glow up or better costume hairstylist? I stopped watched Legend of White Snake, Glory of Tang Dynasty, and all of his older dramas because of how distractingly ill proportion Allen’s forehead look compared to his small face. 😞 However he looks sooooo HOTTT in all of the new dramas (one and only, blue whisper, this).
MC is frustratingly boring. At first, I was hoping for some transformation/plot in which he and LAR try to take the throne. However it doesn’t look like he will do anything interesting 😞

WHY would a noble lady, with no kung fu skills and who has been sheltered all her life want to join a demon fighting sect?!
There is a difference between being mysterious and just illogical. This is the latter.
The only thing i like so far is Vin lol. But i don’t think this eye candy is enough to make up for the poor writing and plot.
I think this drama is trying to be like the 2014 Swords of Legend starring Dilraba and Yang Mi or Journey of Flower?
1) he thinks he can control Naksu to get him Jang Uk’s ice stone.
2) he thinks he can blackmail Jang Uk to do his bidding through Naksu?
3) he will use their marriage to destroy Songrim/kill the uncle?
4) he is ecstatic for the star crossed lovers to be together and MARRIED like we all are. (I wish! A girl can dream)
No way the royal family, Jin Mu, and writers will just let them live happily. But I’m still hoping for a happy ENDING where they are together ALIVE.
