LOL. I am really speachless.Mb I am biased but I see that as envy that their own Chinese scriptwriters can't take…
TMoPB is based on TVB's 1980s dramas. Even Korea drama W Lee Jong-Suk is based on TVB's 1990 Legendary Ranger. There are a lot of TVB and ATV wuxia and fantasy dramas in 1980s and 1990s - too many to count.

Well, I was just airing my views, it is freedom of speech. In the 80s and 90s dramas are better than the dramas nowadays, even romance wuxia dramas were done better than these days. Standards have dropped. So trying to find a wuxia drama with all the elements done properly is hard, even with better technology nowadays. Anyway, I am busy with work, so I am unable to continue this discussion further, let's end it there.

honestly some of the comments are just exaggerating lmao, dunno how many wuxia or series that they have watched…
Legend of Awakening is to me an average drama. But the worst ones to me had to be Ashes of Love, the Winner is Love, Twin Flower Legend, Fake Princess, my Dear Destiny, Romance of Tiger and Rose. The Winner is Love - The couple in the drama spent 90% of their time talking and staring at each other and it was so boring that I dropped that drama.

Who here thinks this adaption is as good as the one from 1986 with Tony Leung?
I prefer the TVB 1986 adaptation, because they copied the dialogue from the books and the emotional scenes were better.
The adaptation with Joseph Zeng, they added unnecessary dialogue not from the books, made it more long winded than necessary. I did like the fight scenes, but some of the fight scenes they didn't follow the book, so I was disappointed.

The adult actor finally shows up and I am feeling a bit disappointed,, he's far from what I expected of Wuji.…
I read the heaven sword and dragon sabre books and I think Tony Leung is the best Zhang Wuji. He also acted in another Jin Yong novel which is Xia Ke Xing.
On The Legend of Zu Season 2 Feb 28, 2019
Yu Yingnan likes Shi Sheng in the TVB Zu mountain series, but in this series Yu Yingnan likes Yu Yingqi. Can anyone tell me who does she really like in the Zu mountain books? Thanks in advance.

may i know the reasons why you dropped THE "ashes of love"?....no offence!!....im just curious coz it ended up…
TVB declined because Shaw sold the company. RRS stopped managing the company in the early 2000's, hence the decline. TVB will never have any good shows in the future, because it is sold to someone who isn't as rich as Shaw.

I didn't like how the Korean drama changed some details. They changed the murder case to one whereby the main actor died from an illness. They should have followed the ATV drama completely and kept it as a murder case. They should have just paid the copyright and followed the ATV drama completely, since the ATV drama was a hit back then. The Korean drama was okay, but the ATV drama was better.
