I like both actors...I am looking forward to this drama...I hope the script is as good as the novel...

One thing I like about this drama team is they stay very low key....It also makes me very curious about the drama....Take adequate time but don't compromise on production quality....

The group wedding is real...I saw a video where the space research institute actually held group wedding like in YAMG...Gu Man has really paid attention to the details while writing YAMG...Well done...

Yup...Guman is the author of Blazing sunlight...I haven't read this novel...I have only read YAMG...So don't know much about this novel...Also heard this novel is yet to be finished...So I'm not sure about the casting rumours...

The book has 2 volumes and how are they going to incorporate it in 40 episodes? I hope they won't change the storyline...

I don't think it is possible...There is a Korean ban in Chinese entertainment years ago...I think they haven't lifted it yet...So the dramas/movies with Korean stars havn't released yet...I think a lot of dramas which has finished filming is yet to air bcz of this ban...

How can there be 4 or 5 billion internet users when total population of China is 1.4 billion? I think certain things you said were right like the views may be hyperinflated since the rules were not that strict at that time...Even though the recent dramas don't have that many views like the old ones, still its view count is really good and looks genuine and convincing...I think ott platforms are concentrating more on getting viewers who pay for the drama than ordinary viewers who watch it for free...If a drama is exclusive to one platform, so even after a drama is aired, it will be available for nonvip viewers for only a small period of time, after that it will only be available to vip users again..right? Anyway capitalists are earning a lot of money through this...

I think with 125 million subscribers, if a drama has more than 100 million views per episode, it is pretty impressive...
Also I heard few years back certain dramas there had 30 to 50 billion views...I mean how is it possible?The population of china is 1.4 billion and world population is 7.8 billion...So how is it possible to get that no of online views in China alone? The video with highest no of views in youtube is only nearly 10 billion and it is accessible in almost all countries and it took about 5 years to reach that number...Also in Netflix there are more than 200 million subscribers and when a drama or movie airs there, the no of views per episode are less than 100 million even for superhit series...So whenever I hear that cdramas have this much billion views during its broadcast time, I am really really surprised since I cannot relate to this phenomenon....

I dropped YAMH bcz of cliches...The earthquake scenario was good, other than that I found it very unrealistic and mediocre even though there was chemistry btw main leads...I didn't bother watching MDG since I am not fond of the actor( I cannot stand anyone with bad reputation).. I am hearing about the drama The Penalty zone for the first time...Anyway thanks for writing about an estimate... Also do you know how many subscribers are there in Tencent video?

I asked about cost of production out of curiosity not for comparing...I know the crime dramas usually has high cost of production...Besides to afford veteran actor like Sun Honglei and cpop idol like Zhang Yixing and other veteran actors, I am super curious how much they have spent on this drama...Since you are from China, you may be able to know about these than people here... If you get to know about this, please share...

I heard Crime Crackdown is broadcasted in various tv channels besides Tencent...So it will be more popular...Also veteran movie actor Sun Honglei is really popular among their general population among all age groups...Even older people will watch the drama...Even though I am not a Chinese, I have watched his movie Silent witness few years back...So it is no wonder if it has more views than YAMG...Also I heard Crime Crackdown is based on real events...So it will generate more interest among public...Also having more than 100 million views per episode is really an achievement...So YAMG is also successful...If it is broadcasted in tv later, it will also become more and more popular....Since it is a web drama, it will take more time to reach a wider audience...So let us appreciate both works...

Just finished watching the drama...I think it will be difficult to move on from this drama for a while... I will be watching this drama again...Also I expect a second collaboration from yang yang and dilireba...

If you love YAMG, just enjoy watching it. There is no need to compare the drama with dramas that has not been aired yet...Why getting stressed over views..Just enjoy the drama...Your personal satisfaction is what is more important...
