1. Tae Joo and Jae Won’s mom are gambling buddies. But prior to that, he was the detective in charge of her case when she was caught in the gambling house. Then she gave him a casino chip.
2. It really depends on your interpretation if it’s intentional or not. I think it is intentional. That note that was delivered in Tae Joo’s prison cell could mean two things: either he was notified that the job is done, or he is notified that Yoon Jin passed on. I personally believed he killed her disguised as accident.

For every poison, usually there’s already an antidote. I am just guessing she could have taken it prior.

Random thoughts and questions:

1. I just realized Ha Do Gwon’s cross over as a lawyer from both Marry My Husband to My Happy Ending. He was Jae Won’s lawyer when she was arrested in the murder of her husband.
2. Bummer! Why did Yoon Jin go down so easily like that? I wasn’t satisfied on how her arc ended. She should be given a painful death.
3. In the same breath, leads me to ask, was Yoon Jin’s accident really an accident or a murder disguised as an accident? What was that note given to the former gambler detective while he was in prison? Does he have a hand in the death of Kwon Yoon Jin? What’s your take?
4. It is a heartbreaking scene when Seo Jae Won finally revealed the truth about her husband’s death to Ah Rin.
5. I hope the detective gambler turns a new leaf once and for all.
6. Why was Soon Young filming her lovemaking with Yoon Jin? Was it all a plan, an insurance, or he’s a plain pervert? This doesn’t sit with me, seems inconsistent to his core as a person. I hope Ho Jun doesn’t die in his next drama. He surprisingly both died in Emergency Responders and My Happy Ending.
7. Who the heck posts flight details these days? That’s so TMI and lazywriting.
8. I feel sorry for Jang Na Ra, her projects these days wastes her acting prowess. I kinda miss her in Go Back Couple and You Are My Destiny (Fated To Love You). These are her best shows, IMHO. I wish she can pick up nice shows again. Poor drama project choices recently.
9. I’m glad this show is over. I just picked it up randomly since I ran out of nice shows to watch. For some reason, I think SK produces not-so-nice shows during winter time, I observed. It will be better once spring comes. I can’t wait to leave my slump and watch mediocre shows.
10. If you want a drama reco on mental health, Daily Dose of Sunshine has a better take on it.

In our country, ID isn’t enough, it’ll be a PERMIT and an ID.

I cannot speak for other countries but in my country, a minor cannot leave the country or at least ride a plane whether local or international travels if unaccompanied (or even travelling with just dad or other relatives) without securing a permit from social services from the legal guardian of the child, usually the mothers give consent (unless dead, it’ll be the legal guardian). Immigration will flag you if there’s none.

I sincerely hope Yisoo’s older half-brother is a good guy. Such a waste if he isn’t since I love their bromance a lot. It’s a good break from all the evil there is in their family.

I liked the drama. It was wrapped up beautifully.

Oh shoot, did you see the car that hit Yisoo’s mom? It looks like Kang Hyun’s beat down car. I feel like FL dad was framed up for ML mom’s death.

And there’s no way Brother didn’t tell JJM that Jong Min is going around doing dubious things around this house and warehouse.

Yeah and also what Pasin’s “debt” that doesn’t need backpay anymore. JJM said in the phone call, “you don’t need to pay me anymore.” Could it be literal money or something else?

The multiple voice replays sealed the deal, he ain’t dead. Haha!

There’s no way JJM is dead. I refuse to believe that someone as clever and cunning like him will lousily go down like that. If someone like Bale managed to survive those stabs and possibly an explosion, and wait a bullet too, JM can also pull off the same.

JJM and Bale will have a final face off again before the series ends. Mutherhelp vs Babylon soon!

I kinda remember the swordsman Syrio Forel (Arya’s Teacher) in Game of Thrones with the same mantra, “What do we say to the god of death? Not today!” Could also parallel’s JJM and Jian’s training together for survival.

Objectively a 7.5-8/10 final rating. I just finished it for the sake of my time investment. Overall, not impressive.

Did she or did she not get Remington? LOLS. Wanna hear your thoughts. Why do I feel like it’s open-ended? I already finished so it’s ok to spoil just mark spoiler tag for others.

It’s been like this since EP8, they dragged it too much so my interest dwindled. I feel it’s going around in circles and the plot didn’t achieve a lot. Hitting the speed button for me is not a good sign since I like the FL a lot, but it needs to be said. No hate intended, just want to share my viewing experience.

To be honest, I am really getting bored now at EP13. The entire episode is 80% romance, PPL and other fillers, and 20% details to the plot. I am barely hanging.

I almost dropped this at EP3 after reading the negative comments here but I followed my gut feel and went on since I find it enjoyable. Surprisingly, it was thrilling watching this. It is fast faced and intriguing. Will definitely watch if a S2 comes.

Try My Happy Ending and Marry My Husband

Surprisingly, my two favorite on-air dramas today are neither on Netflix nor Disney! I love this show so far along with My Happy Ending.
