You know, I easily cry when watching heartwarming family movies. The hype said it was a tearjerker (seeing clips from crying movie goers at the cinema and all) but it didn’t make me cry a single tear. Yes it was relatable and warm, but the crying hype was overrated.
The banters of the grandma and grandson stole the show for me, they were funny moments. I love their dynamics.
I think in the first half their goal was to capture her and take her to the third prince but in the second half…
But they just let her go and stared blankly. Frankly, this wasn’t explored and a bit of a let down. The drama should’ve at least invented an explanation. Not a convincing scene to me in the series.

So why didn’t they capture and bring her to the third prince? She was vulnerable then in Part I. The leader of the White Tigers just stared at her then.
So anyone knows why Queen Woo was spared by the White Tigers in Part I? I didn’t seem to notice the explanation.
Anyway, I enjoyed this series. This is one saeguk that should’ve been at least 12 episodes. There were parts and plots that I wish were fleshed out better.

But wait, why did the White Tigers back off from killing them? Interesting.
I’ll try the 1st 4 episodes.
