Aha! My hunch was right!

I think ODL is the best show that’s airing now. Namkoong Min doesn’t disappoint. He always delivers no matter the genre. He is the Korean Johnny Depp (acting side) —versatile and a very good character actor.

Sadly, I kept pressing the forward button until I reached the end. I am so sorry for the leads. I like them both and they are good actors. Their chemistry here is undeniable. They have the spark. However, I really got bored watching this. :( I had a lot skips, esp. I found the skinship too much (I don’t mind skin ship at all in the right amount and placement) but this one is excessive in my view. There were a few episodes that I enjoyed, esp. the inheritance case.

Overall, if you like LSG and LSY, give it a go. Not worth a rewatch, sadly.

The 5% might account for the time jump! Lols I feel you or open-ended, subject to interpretation, might leave it vague, which is the worst! I’d be annoyed. Oh well, let’s wait and see.

Not complaining if they’re endgame!

When this drama insists on the loveline between Jegal and Ga Eul, it would unfavorably impact my rating of this show a lot. I don’t ship him with any of the female lead. Not Ga Eul, not Dr. Park, not even the no medal gymnast even if they try to convince me with a time jump. It is really making my skin crawl. I am still not pacified. For now I’m holding my horse and wait how this wraps up.

My money’s on that woman Secretary Tae (of Seo Hyun Kyu) as the killer. She also stabbed Jin Jung. The physique is that of a woman.

Greenest flag is Hyun Gyu and Na Eon. They have the healthiest breakup and best example of moving forward. I feel sad for Hyun Gyu the most in this series. Na Eon is almost sure to go with Tae I.

Couples Hee Do-Na Yeon, Hae Eun-Gyu Min won’t be wrong to choose themselves for now. However, I still see a speck of hope for Gyu Min and Hae Eun. Hee-do and Na Yeon are incompatible. They don’t respect each other anymore.

I think a part of me not wanting a counselor-counselee romance wants to blame that stalker-doctor episode of The Law Cafe. Haha! While it is possible to fall in love, it is dangerous and unethical, esp. if it is one-sided. If you’ve seen that episode, you’ll know what I meant.

Agree! There are still a few episodes left so I hope it won’t be a last minute realization on Jegal’s part since he often calls Ga Eul a kid or “never a girl” in his eyes.

I am not really comfortable watching it. I hope the writers do not force the love line because the show is already good on its own without the romance.

Sorry to say this but I have to. I am not really a fan of the Jegal-Ga Eul romantic pairing if the writers decide to go that way. No chemistry there for lovers. It ruined my viewing pleasure.

I dropped, too. A lot of nice ones are coming out anyway. Under the Queen’s Umbrella is replacing this on my watchlist.

I really hope Hae Eun doesn’t get back together with Gyu Min after all the things he did to her in the show. He treated her like a doormat.

At this point, I really don’t care about others. If the show can give me a Hyun Gyu-Hae Eun and Na Eon-Tae I endgame, it’s all worth it.

Ain’t gonna lie but I skipped all of Gyu Min and Ji Soo’s bilateral date scenes. Haha!

The political convo is very boring. I enjoy all kinds of genre but this one seems be losing its focal point. It is not translating well in its screenplay. This show wants to aim at all sorts of genre. As they say “master of many, master of none.”

I’m on EP6 and I am on the verge of dropping this ultra ambitious drama. The plot is all over the place, trying its best to impress the audience with whatever but failing miserably. I don’t know what the show is driving at.

Torturous to watch this, and I am not sure if I can stay for 10 more episodes. Will drop now.

Same here! I am already satisfied with her getting an apartment by clean means from her aunt. Them taking the money at the end leaves a bad taste in the mouth.
