You all guys are behaving as if the show ended and above questions you asked were unanswered 😂. All your questions…
I raised this question because it doesn’t make sense to me if Baek Yijin is very much present in Hee Do and Min Chae’s life in 2021, why are there no signs of their other friends yet, even subtly. Remember Min Chae even asked her grandma about them as if she really didn’t know any of them. And by the narration it’s as if Hee Do never talked about her friends to Min Chae.

I keep getting a feeling that the drama might pull off a La La Land kind of ending.

Did Hee Do stop communicating with her other friends all these time? If Min Chae did not recognize her own father (if it’s really Baek Yijin since he could look different), then where did Hee Do’s other friends go? Seungwan, Ji Woong, Yurim, at least? It doesn’t make sense that Hee Do would also cut them off of her life in the last 15 years and Min Chae doesn’t even know who her mother’s closest friends are. I did not catch any compelling reason yet for them to be out of the picture or Hee Do’s life for the longest time, leaving an impression that Min Chae doesn’t know any of them either.

If Yijin is a Kim before a Baek, why wouldn’t Min Chae recognize the name Yijin since it’s only the family that has changed.

i really dont get the point why they spoiled the synopsis and supposedly "ending" of ep 16 :) this is a dumb move…
Regardless of the ending, I enjoyed the journey. I am not complaining even if they decide to pull off a La La Land kind of ending.

Has anyone seen this interview by the songwriter of 21, 25? What do you think?

Title track “25, 21” deals with the topic of youth with a delicate approach. Yet, it’s not about the optimistic hope for youth. Instead of telling a tender lover story, Kim Yuna who wrote this song wanted to tell a story that didn’t overlook the harsh and bitter reality.

“Around the cherry blossoms days, as I was going home after taking my kid to the kindergarten bus, I saw the petals falling on the ground. The melody and the lyrics came to me at once. I called the guys up right away and we recorded the song. I had a lot on my mind at that time. These thoughts that I had before, I don’t have them today. It’s like the cherry blossoms we see several years, but they’re different each time.” (Kim Yuna)

People are crazy about this drama. Look at this theory I found in twitter https://twitter.com/xtinasarrival/status/1507099694870286336?s=21&t=RQpGY4GX8jjxd1Bb_aKkMg
Sounds like an “Alice” kind of plot. Hilarious theory.

Have you seen the movie “On Your Wedding Day” ? I hope they don’t pull off something like that for an ending.

There was this poster theory so according to it, baek yi jin's pen name is actually "kim yijin"
If that’s true, Yijin’s real name could really be Kim Yijin from his mom’s side. Maybe Mr. Baek legally adopted him when he married Yijin’s mom. Who knows Ms. Kim might be a single parent in the past. But pen names cannot translate in real life, more so give to your child. My guess is probably that is Kim Yijin’s past name. However, I don’t see a compelling reason for Yijin to give up the Baek family surname since he loves his father and family a lot.

All we have are theories for now. I even read a theory that Min Chae could be Ko Yu Rim’s daughter and she passed on and Hee Do adopted her child. So many possibilities.

So why Kim for a family name and not Baek? Did Hee Do marry the fencer Kim Jun Ho who had a cameo recently? Quite possible. But Hee Do is busy competing until mid 2009 so it’s impossible to get pregnant.

So she is his daughter after all?
If she is really Hee Do’s daughter, a possible father candidate is Kim Jun Ho, the fencer guy who recently appeared.

That’s how I feel too after watching episode 11
I hate that the plot is just going around in circles. It’s tiring. Following them around is burdensome.

I was also trying to pause but I am still not soo sure about it. In some scenes this person looks like policeman,…
The policeman I think is a red herring. Maybe he is also investigating the killings on his own just like what the Chief is doing.

Still standing by my culprit, it’s Kim Sol. He killed everyone who accepted the compensation money and left the village. Motive surely is revenge to those who broke his family and the village apart.

Also if you zoom in the culprit’s short scenes, his physique and skin complexion, it’s him.

Kim Sol, the park ranger volunteer/photographer (who also knows the “Partisan stick”) is the young boy who saw his dad, the Black Bridge mayor die. His motive reeks of revenge to all who destroyed their village and family. My money is on him being the culprit.

I wonder what interesting plot there is yet to reveal. First two episodes were good, interesting but I felt bored from third up to the latest. I am afraid that this is another “Encounter” in the making, I couldn’t feel the chemistry with the leads.

I’m trying to figure out what’s in store for us in the next 12 episodes.

I don't get why people are hating this so much! It was a pretty decent show, nothing out of this world, but it…
Red flag isn’t done halfway, it became even worse in Episode 9.
