Captivating drama with strong male and female leads
This drama has held my interest from episode one. Unlike others that seem to drag, the story unfolds nicely as you learn more about Xiao Duo and what led him to be the head Eunuch. Dylan is exceptional in this role and really carries the show. The female lead is smart and cunning so if you're tired of weak and clueless female leads from other shows you'll really like this one. There is a considerable amount of romantic and kissing scenes, even though a ton were cut out. The main love story is so forbidden you'll feel very stressed towards the end as Xiao Duo falls head over heels for Yinlou, but the story ends in a very satisfying way. Highly recommend this for anyone searching for a good romance drama with a strong female lead and extremely good looking male lead.Was this review helpful to you?
