Finally someone on my same page! Honestly don’t understand why so many people are rooting for Jiao when all he does are exaggerated “high-performance” gestures. Peeling fruits, showering endless daily gifts, handing out umbrellas, picking trash from the beach, even kneeling to peel fruits for guests. Then there’s the overly romantic garden date (effort acknowledged, but still), the snow surprise, and so on… all these when they’re not even a couple yet. It comes across as pure theatrics — excessive, one-sided pursuits while Lan responses were nothing but simply polite. Unfortunately Overwhelming and undermining … ( if you get it you get it).
