Sheng Yang wearing that stained shirt is cracking me up but so realistic, when I first started working I also cycled through that few outfits cause broke, such a realistic portrayal of mid twenties person in the corporate world. The fight between Sheng Yang's parents is very realistic, it's not just fight and make up immediately, I like how they keep testing each other and then slowly make up, even with the help of the commercial.

I just started the drama and is loving it, I love the how close to life and relatable it is, getting super invested in the characters and how they'll develop. Sheng Yang is super relatable, regular guy working hard in his chosen profession, comes from a lower income family but does not suffer from inferiority comple and is truly a beam of sunlight. He's such a gentlemen to send Jian Bing home and makes sure she is well taken care of, no clichés of one night stand, taking advantages while she's passed out drunk. His family may not be well to do but he's definitely well brought up, probably also why the rich family friend is willing to match make her daughter to Sheng Yang, he's motivated and hardworking, and will be a positive influence on her daughter if they get together. Also the cinematography is just beautiful, movie like feel in every scene.

I just started watchging, wow Shiying is amazingly gorgeous. Only up to ep 4, am happy to see SY and ZY are getting to know each other and not just randomly fall in love out of the blue.

I am totally in love with this drama, this is some top notched story telling and acting. Xiao Zhan is perfect as Xiao Chun Sheng, the idealistic and carefree youth from Beijing with his own difficult life, but never giving up no matter what the circumstances are and continue to become better and work hard for his aspirations. The episodes where he joined the military were especially great his circle expands, he met people from complex background, same age people who have experienced worse and not have the same privileges, people who are more outstanding than he is. No character wasted, no scene wasted, no lines un-meaningful. Such a joy to watch a well put together story like this, I anticipate how Xiao Chun Sheng's story will develop as he encounter even more challenges and people.
