I think for these characters their depression was situational, vs someone like me whos been dealing with it for a lifetime. But also south korean media can often be outdated or out of touch when dealing with such topics, but in this instance i dont think these characters were just dealing with unresolved issues that were finally just starting to manifest, overworked for Ha-Neul, she never stopped to smell the flowers or stand up for herself, and for jeong I think his will take longer to go away as his betrayals, recent loses and darkness he experienced was pretty earth shattering, i would agree that his ptsd subsided quickly
