I can’t stand the whole Caina arc and if it comes back later it will be a stupid decision. The actress must have connections or it’s nepotism.
1. Caina is a horribly written character. We only know her as someone who tried to get the chef guy to like her so she entered the competition. She’s the one who leaves Terrence suddenly and acts all like he wronged her, overreacts at the secretary scene and doesn’t talk about anything like an adult. Even though she’s clearly older than the rest of the cast. 2. This makes her unsympathetic and insufferable. The fact that she’s in 10 episodes and for almost half the episodes is downright unbearable. 3. It’s unclear why meizuo or terrence fall in love with her as she has almost no redeeming personality character traits. She leads meizuo on half heartedly and acts like a butt hurt child with Terrence. I would have backed away if I were Terrence and dodged a bullet there. Her worries in life are so silly - if I can’t renovate the house I have to go to California. Wahhh I have no aspirations in life or reasons to be in this show. 4. Terrible acting doesn’t help either as all she does is make exaggerated facial expressions that don’t look natural. 5. The whole storyline is stupid filler and no one cares about some side bit character. Did the cast all get sick for a week or something and they had to film filler?

I totally agree. I had to sign up and voice that the actress who plays Caina portrays her so annoyingly. She just puts on exaggerated expressions and never talks about anything. It’s just boring scenes of her and Terrence that are stupid and lame because they drag it on and don’t even explain. Not to mention she’s just a boring character.
