Agree agree and Yang Zi really is talented she’s a literal gem imo.

I mean if it’s a Netflix original then no hassle in licensing and money but the non original ones take awhile since they take forever to negotiate. Netflix usually catch on only after the show get famous like Viki in a way except Netflix subs are right away.

Not a lot though they still have a small amount of Asian shows in all honesty but it’s still better than before

I mean I’m not worried about her acting more like the plot since a lot of good or seemingly good shows get ruined by either the script or acting. I’ve only seen part of the manhua and It’s pretty good lol.

Honestly not many like honest people like her and kuddos to her for being honest but at the same time literaly almost all celebs are in it for the money/fame. Atleast she’s able to admit it rather than deny it especially about her plastic surgery many famous celebs would deny it no matter what. Still imo she should take a break or get therapy from all the hate she gets. I remember in one interview she said something along the line of how she do read/hear comments and gets very sad when people criticize not only her acting but she herself personally.

Agree but at the same time shows always use way older actresses to play teens since authors love to start out their novels with teenagers and it’s the old ones that have a large die hard fan base

I think it’s just fans/pure speculations because on weibo they only confirmed the leads Yang Zi and Kris Wu nothing about the supportings. Also I saw back then this article talking about how PXR wasn’t coping well with the harsh weather that comes with filming so she’s taking a break idk if that’s true or not though.

Same, but knowing how strict broadcasters are its probably going to take awhile before it airs. I seriously hope this will be a webseries. But that’s going to be hard looking at how famous Yang Zi and Kris Wu are like The Oath of Love which was originally a web-series got bought over to be broadcasted.

exactly there’s always a good point about someone and it’s sad to see these “fans” just hide behind a screen to personally attack someone they don’t know. Like if youre here to critique/point out what’s wrong with their acting/script then yeah but once you attack them personally that’s just hate right there. I did see people criticizing Wang Yibo and again fans should just chill lol.

Saw on YouTube that apparently YM denied being the lead here and DL’s studio never confirmed it so it’s likely that they’re not the actual leads.

Omg I loved this show watched it as a kid n it was so cool! Hopefully this does justice to the show.

Yang Zi is so cute in Chinese Restautant 3! Her personality and laugh is so contagious she can crack all the cast up lol.
