First time that I have been so invested in a modern show so much other than Love o2o and in all honesty this beats Love o2o imo. Ik I never thought any show would beat Love o2o for me but Go Go Squid really did that with all its fluff, relationships, struggles and lastly determination. Definitely 10/10. GGS you will be dearly missed and rewatched a lot <3!

Also is it only me or what but I don’t feel much chemistry from DT & Appledog I thought they were suppose to be a couple pls correct me if I’m wrong I might just need to rewatch the subbed episodes, but they feel more like good friends to me. Also for supportings I would say I prefer yaya’s coupling Ik Ik I’m usually not the type that is too invested in the supporting couples but this show took me by surprise with its cuteness from every couple.

Yang Zi was the reason why I started this show but let me tell you every single character here whether I thought they weren’t important or not are just as important they are all so cute and adorable in their own ways. All this fluff and no crazy scheming ones out of nowhere is just too addicting that it’s sad to say goodbye too ): wish there were more bts so I can keep seeing my lovely squiddie and god gun.

For some reason when I first saw this I didn’t think Li Xian was handsome enough but lord I was wrong he is so charming and adorable on/offscreen with Yang Zi. They got A+ acting and chemistry.

Some people are delusional to think Yang Zi have the time to hate or be jealous of another actress she is a chill ass person who is busy making friends and money.
