She won an EMMY! Holy moly that is huge! The scene between Lee Yoo-Mi and HoYeon Jung was spellbinding, unforgettable and tragic. Recognition of this very special performance by the Television Academy is unexpected and so well deserved. Loved her in All of Us are Dead and looking forward to watching her career blossom even more.

We definitely have a different definition of an "A" lister and "B". I prefer to acknowledge the caliber of the work and the impact of the performance over a superficial "resume". GYJ's work is memorable and caught my attention (and apparently Lee Jung Jae) in "Sweet Home". He could have cast anyone, but chose her. The other one I've seen but can't remember her part(s)?

Based on what the producers said they knew it was a 30ep series from the start. Whoever signed up for the part would have to be available. Also, they had issues with this role from the beginning so they must have been extra careful. Best guess.

JSM is probably coming back. Production knew there was a 2nd season and they knew the storyline. All the actors and characters would have needed to sign up for all the episodes. We should be good ;-)

A lot of possibilities, but if this was a Western series my guess would be JSM's agent is holding out for more money, but since this is a K-drama and they knew all along there are two actors with the changeable souls and they knew the series was going another 10eps, they must have factored in there would need both ladies/characters. Well said. Go Yoon Jung is an amazing actor and one who I have followed for years. She's beautiful, but she also chooses interesting roles and was just in Cannes for "Hunt". I'm really looking forward to her return as the ML in S2. Doubtful there will be much resolution with the next two episodes, especially knowing the writers propensity for lame endings. Looks like we will be waiting for for the next season, but that's okay.
