Great article, there were a lot more than I expected. :) And quite a few bls, wasn't expecting that.I loved KinnPorche…
KinnPorsche is a great example of adapting a problematic novel to screen by adding new elements and modifying certain characters to make them more likable.
I'm sorry, but The Effect was horrifying! I didn't read the original novel but the drama should come with trigger warnings. Not Me and My Ride are far superior and should be on the list :)
By the way i never thought about it before but jeff Satur's job is really one of the hardest. He needs portray…
Props to both actors for their understated chemistry, especially since this is Barcode's first acting gig. It's so easy for Kim to be perceived as predatory (yes, I'm shading you, Cutie Pie!), but Jeff manages to make me feel comfortable while watching their story.
Y'all don't criticize the series too much cos the director just asked someone if they have studied film lol.
Wow, that was a dick move from the director. I studied for 3 years for a film degree. Watched 100+ classic films, wrote a thesis, and even filmed a short film for my course. I still think Bite Me is a wasted potential. The director is good at shot composition but god, he should've hired a better scriptwriter and editor.
The show would've been a lot better if they just cut out the pause after each character speaks. It's like the director told one actor to speak their line, pause then cut, then get another to speak their line. It's especially obvious when Aek is with his friends. Like, who would wait that long before replying in a casual conversation? I'm still sticking to this show cos of the leads' chemistry but yeah, the director needs a lot of improving.
Ingredients - Friends, Nice Male Lead
Bad Buddy - School, Hate to Love, Adapted from a Novel
