And here I'm wishing someone would at least discuss the plot, characters and the current episodes here like in…
I'm all for discussing the plot, characters and current episodes :)
Did you think he would be playing a more significant role based on the first few episodes?
I think both Yeo Joon and Nam Soo Hyun built up this huge wall around them. Despite that, Yeo Joon was still craving genuine love, besides being showered with unwanted attention. The moment he shuts off though, is when he has to discuss his demons, regardless of how close he's with that person. Whereas Nam Soo Hyun just shuts off at an earlier stage; letting people in. I feel like both of them are opening up at quite a similar pace, it's just that they were shutting off at different stages to begin with.
Ugh i just adore this drama lol. ADORE Jae Jin and Hye Sun, they’re such a joy to watch together. Ok and i feel…
He’s one of the mains in “at a distance, spring is green” which is also airing currently and I quite like his character there. Although he doesn’t play the conventional, at first glance likeable individual there either.
I initially put this on hold after watching the first episode because it didn't really seem like my cup of tea. But I decided to pick it up again today and here I am on ep 7 completely invested and adoring all characters.
Also, this drama literally has me laughing out loud multiple times which rarely ever happens.
It's the first time I'm seeing Lee Jun Young in a drama and it's fair to say I'm obsessed. He embodies the many different sides there are to Kwon Ryok so well and I'm looking forward to seeing him in more dramas in the future!
Apart from the professor that plagiarizes So Bin's work and the individuals that use Yeo Joon as their ATM I pretty much like all characters. I love how they help each other heal from their past trauma and get through their current struggles. Now that we're halfway through the drama I also feel as though the character development of our leads is quite decent so far. All in all, I'm really enjoying this drama!
As cliché as it might have been, I would have loved to have seen them actually getting married and have KSR and TDK spend a bit more time together, alone in the final episode. However, I do really like that the drama didn't stop at KSR turning human, but gave us the satisfaction of everyone living happily and him slowly exploring humanity instead.
